Joe Calzaghe above Marvin Hagler ATG list?

Prime Roy Jones would stomp a mudhole in Joe's a55 and walk it dry. I love when people come on here and even think he would've been competitive with Roy when a faded as hell version dropped him and lasted 12 rounds.Comment

Ever notice how the only people that seem to really like Calzaghe r Welshmen and boxing's designated PR people?
They claim that its becuz Joe isn't American... But then u look at Floyd and all the criticism he gets for weak opposition... And look at Manny Pacquiao, not American, but is loved here... It makes u wonder which side is really being biasComment

Calzaghe > Hopkins
history will always remember Calzaghe beat Hopkins, and had zero losses, while Bernard had 5 losses.

Its hard where to place JC, but you tell me who is supposed to be no20 and then its possible to say whether i think JC is better or worse than that person. If you said Hagler was no20, which he isnt, i would say JC is above Hagler so is 19 at least.
i'd say calz is top 10 and i totally agree with calzaghe being higher than haglerComment

What title?
Chris Eubank didn't have a title when he fought Joe Calzaghe.
Infact, Chris Eubank didn't have a legit win at 168 in years when he fought Calzaghe and he wasn't in the Top 10 at 168.
Calzaghe beat Eubank for a vacant title. That's the same worthless title he defended 21 times.

Haha the only ones 'hating' are the people like you claiming Calzaghe ranks higher than the likes of B-Hop, RJJ & Marvin Hagler on an ATG list. You lot then tend to say ''Oh but if Calzaghe was black or American he'd be praised as the G.O.A.T''
It's these idiotic comments that make me do these threads & pick faults (which aren't hard to find). If you want the truth I think Joe was a good fighter. Even if he lost a few but pushed himself & didn't duck so many live opponents I'd have more respect for him. In fact I think he could of probably beaten Johnson & maybe Froch. The money was awesome yet he wouldn't take the risks.
Good fighter but extremely well managed. I think Reid beat him, I think the B-Hop fight could of gone either way & I damn well know a prime Eubank, Jones & B-Hop all wipe the floor with him.Comment
