@ dancovboxer keep on hating cause somebody’s gotta do it

Being 100% honest how well do you think he would of done in the Eubank, Collins, Watson, Benn, McClellan era?

That was when men was men.

He ducked Pavlik, Johnson about 50 times, Tarver, Froch & just about every other live threat.
Where was he for 10 years until he fought Jeff Lacy (the most overrated super middle possibly ever)? Where was he? Oh that is right he was getting extremely premature stoppages against journeymen for a decade on the Cardiff ice-rink.

So essentially then you feel that your opinion is more informed/valuable than Marvin Hagler's.

Ali said Tyson would of knocked him out within 3 rounds, does this mean it is true?

Amir Khan says he would beat Mayweather & said Maidana's punches wasn't that hard, does that mean it's true?

What exactly did Hagler say? That Joe was a good fighter? He'd of done well in any era? Both are correct IMO!

However I don't think I'd struggle to name at least 50 fighters higher than Joe on the ATG list. In fact Joe probably barely cracks the top 70-80

It's these idiotic comments that make me do these threads & pick faults (which aren't hard to find). If you want the truth I think Joe was a good fighter. Even if he lost a few but pushed himself & didn't duck so many live opponents I'd have more respect for him. In fact I think he could of probably beaten Johnson & maybe Froch. The money was awesome yet he wouldn't take the risks.

Good fighter but extremely well managed. I think Reid beat him, I think the B-Hop fight could of gone either way & I damn well know a prime Eubank, Jones & B-Hop all wipe the floor with him.

prime Eubank, Jones & B-Hop all wipe the floor with him...

            Eubank on joe calzaghe

One of the greatest world champions in history he never had a hard fight. He got out with his face intact and plenty of money, one in a million."

            Jones on joe calzaghe

Calzaghe's one of the best fighters ever, one of the greatest of all time,"
            "He has a 100% record of 46-0, He's a true athlete I respect

Jones would of beaten the living **** out of him as would Eubank. Fighters say such things out of respect. They was both washed up as hell & still give him fits. Unbeaten records don't mean **** look at David Rodriguez & Cesar Rene Cuenca.
Cesar Rene Cuenca is 41-0 with 1 K.O LMFAO!

A prime Roy would of knocked Calzaghe spark out.

Seeing we are doing the quotes let me pull a few out of the bag...

"I could probably give Jones a tough fight, probably the best fight he's ever had," said Calzaghe. "But I know my capabilities and unless I got paid the crown ***els I wouldn't want to risk it." - Joe Calslappy.

In his book 'No ordinary Joe' he says & I quote ''I would never fight Roy Jones because his a shell of his former self & the win would be meaningless'' - Approx 18 months later the coward fights him.

                    Cherrypicking at it's finest.
