its possible if he starts campaigning for it... later on in a few fights if ortiz gets some solid wins at 140 or 147, polishes his skills, accustoms himself to the ppv stage, gets more recognition, and him and the fans clamour for the rematch

and if mayweather stays active and doesnt lose
ANyone who's not ******ed knew this already.Only those who sniff ******* and wear fishnets would think otherwise

Just the same as 80% if not more of what Mayweather says; Floyd just aimlessly talking.

I think most of the time he genuinely doesn't think about what he's about to say. He just, say's.

As we know, Mayweather is the same person who literally **** on Arturo Gatti the ENTIRE build up in 2005 then in 2006 said 'I always said Gatti is a great fighter and the truth'

      For example.

As we both know, 80% if not more of what Mayweather say's you have to just take with a pinch of salt.

Hopefully, this time, we can be happy that Mayweather was just being Mayweather because if this rematch happens I will genuinely cry myself to sleep for a few days.

It's hard not to agree with him. The public demand, with the exception of Pac lovers, does not want a rematch. They saw that Mayweather was clearly out classing Ortiz throughout, and Ortiz had his shot. He blew it. Also, a mreatch doesn't really make sense. No one can honestly say they want to see Mayweather-Ortiz 2 because it's clear Ortiz is good, but not nearly good enough to beat Floyd.

          What do you think???
Why would Pacquiao fans want to see Ortiz vs Mayweathe II. I didn't even want to see Ortiz vs Mayweather I.

The public demands Mayweather vs Pacquiao. Lets see if Mayweather will oblige?

It was clear that Ortiz is a B level fighter from his past performance but that didn't stop Mayweather going after him Ortiz, actually it probably the reason he went after Ortiz.

watch the post fight interview, when Floyd is asked if he heard Cortez call time in, he said he didnt know if Cortez called time in, but also said what goes around comes around meaning he clearly didnt give a **** if he was DQ'd as he wasnt sure if time was in or not.

Then lets take a look at out classed, Jerry Roth a highley respected judge gave Ortiz round 1, Round 2 was close as well and the fourth was up for debate the dominant round was the third in behalf of Floyd.

I am sorry but this is hardly outclassed, and your compubox stats are ****, those I do not beleive are as accurate as people make them out to be....

Bottom line, Floyd knows he was in for a long nights work against a younger fresher fighter who was much bigger, and was still comming forward.

I think a rematch is warranted But its clear Floyd doesnt want it Floyd knows what he felt when Ortiz landed hands on him

Actually I did. If Ortiz was dominating Mayweather the way that Floyd was dominating him, and than Mayweather knocked him out like that, than yeah Ortiz should get his rematch.

If Ortiz was dominating Mayweather, and than Floyd tried to headbutt him, and Victor knocked him out like that....than fine. Victor would have been dominating the fight and Floyd threw an intentional headbutt.

You see, Floyd was out classing him clearly, therefore no rematch. If Victor was fighting an even fight or beating Floyd, than I would want a rematch.

              Nice try.

So...one judge had it 2-1 Mayweather and the other two had it 3-0 Mayweather. And, Mayweather dominated the first 2:00 of round 4, and Ortiz got him ont he ropes twice for about 5 seconds eacht he last 0:50 and landed 4-5 punches...and that was winning him round 4????

Also, lets not forget about the boxing analysts and boxing insiders who even said after the fight that Ortiz was out classed. I had the fight 2-0-1 (30-28)going into the 4th, and Ortiz was being docked a point for headbutting, and the 4th would have been a 10-8 for Floyd (40-36).

Punch stats don't mean anything???? Than they wouldn't keep them if they didn't. Floyd landed 35% of his punches and 44% of his power punches, while Ortiz landed 18% of his punches and 22% of his power punches (the guy only lands power shots and nothing else). Floyd landed 73 punches to 26 punches, and 65 power punches to 26 power punches. Ortiz hit Mayweather ont he back of his head 6-7 times and leaned in with his head throughout making contact with Floyds face. Man, you Floyd haters are all the same.

Floyd talkin outta his ass again when he said Victor can get a rematch

If I was Victor Ortiz I would sue his ass for breach of verbal contract which he said live on TV

I know that a Pacquiao fan isn't talking about dodging a rematch right??? Your boy waited 4 years to give Barrera a rematch, 4 years to give Marquez a 2nd fight, and than another 3 1/2 years to give Marquez a 3rd fight. Floyd's only controversial win, Mayweather-Castillo 1, he gave a latter-prime Castillo an immediate rematch and won convincingly. I am just saying man...nobody except for Floyd haters want to see a Mayweather-Ortiz fight again. Mayweather is clearly the better fighter, and like Atlas said...."If you're being honest, it was all Mayweather. And without the headbutt, you don't get the knockout in the 4th round". Trust me on this....If Mayweather agreed to give Ortiz a rematch next spring, EVERYONE would say "he's cherry picking Victor because he already knows he can out class him. He's avoiding Manny". You know it man.
