I scored round 2 as an even round. Where exactly did you see Victor landing all these punches??? i saw Floyd landing straight rights all night long. Even when the 4th round started, he threw a couple 4-5 punch combo's, and Ortiz was like "What the f**k do I do now???". Just because Ortiz got him on the ropes for about 5 seconds a few times doesn't mean he was landing man. Why else do you think he threw a headbutt??? Because even when he was "coming on" at the end of round 4, how many of those punches landed??? 2, 3 at the most, where as Floyd had already landed over 20 times in that round. If you're being completely honest about the fight and not hating on Mayweather, he was clearly winning the fight and landing far more often, and he hadn't even fought in 16 months, and he was fighting a prime fighter who out weighed him by 14 lbs on fight night. You gotta admit, Floyd looked pretty good.

Also, go cry me a river about illegal punches to knock out Ortiz. Since you're in the ring, when the ref motions you back to the center of the ring and says "lets go", do you apologize again and look toward the ref??? NO.

Also, Victor was leaning in with his head all night, making contact with Floyd's chin. Go watch the fight. Also, watch out for Victor's rabbitt punches that were hitting Floyd on the back of his head. If you don't count the rabbitt punches that Ortiz landed, which was about 6-7, he landed like 20 punches. Damn, he was coming on and winning the fight. Floyd also out worked him, which is funny because Floyd never out works anyone in a fight anymore.
we have an opportunity right here to look at this objectively, The referee has three universal commands, Stop, Break and Box, he never instructed them to Box, sayin lets go and motioning with his hands to me looked like he was tellin them to touch gloves.

Now you also never heard him call time in, so again there are two **** ups there, when time is in supposed to usher the offending boxer to his corner have the Dr look at Floyd which he did, but he must do this in this exact order.

Secure a safe distance between both fighters, (neutral corner) Signal the time keeper to start time, and command the fighters to box... He did not do that. did you know that Joe Cortez also lost his mother that night? the man clearly was not fit to be the third man in the ring that night.

Regarding the rabbit punches Floyd always turns his head away on the inside and if a fighter is throwing when Floyd does that its not a foul

However lets just stick to the rules of the sport, regarding this....

Now you dont need to add Floyds lay off to the arguement as it has no relevance to the rules nor do we need to look at how good Floyd looked in there that has nothing to do with the rules.

What we need to look at is exactly what Cortez did and did not do.... when he called time there was 10 seconds left in the round, when he said lets go and he did, an apology to Floyd, two hugs and two cheap shots and a full count to 10....

What you DID NOT hear was the bell to end the round, NO I am not saying you can be saved by the bell, I am saying if time really was in, you would have heard the bell to end the 4th round.... think about it
Time was called with 10 seconds left....
You had the hugs and the cheap shots
    and a full ten count
No bell to end the round......

Was time really in or is Joe Cortez covering his ass....

Floyd definitely said he would rematch...BUT I think that was in the heat of the moment.

Would a rematch be good for floyd, Ortiz, the fans, or all of the above?...for the sake of seeing Floyd in the ring sooner than later, I would say f*@k it, rematch...but I honestly don't think its worth all the ppv stuff again. Ortiz didn't show me anything that leads me to believe he has anymore of a chance 2nd time around.
