So...one judge had it 2-1 Mayweather and the other two had it 3-0 Mayweather. And, Mayweather dominated the first 2:00 of round 4, and Ortiz got him ont he ropes twice for about 5 seconds eacht he last 0:50 and landed 4-5 punches...and that was winning him round 4????
Also, lets not forget about the boxing analysts and boxing insiders who even said after the fight that Ortiz was out classed. I had the fight 2-0-1 (30-28)going into the 4th, and Ortiz was being docked a point for headbutting, and the 4th would have been a 10-8 for Floyd (40-36).
Punch stats don't mean anything???? Than they wouldn't keep them if they didn't. Floyd landed 35% of his punches and 44% of his power punches, while Ortiz landed 18% of his punches and 22% of his power punches (the guy only lands power shots and nothing else). Floyd landed 73 punches to 26 punches, and 65 power punches to 26 power punches. Ortiz hit Mayweather ont he back of his head 6-7 times and leaned in with his head throughout making contact with Floyds face. Man, you Floyd haters are all the same.
I could care less what the writers say, seriously alot of them are *****s just like you, they are going to tell their version of the story that doesnt make it the truth.
Again punch stats is nothing more than two guys with buttons counting thrown and landed shots, how accurate can those guys be? lets be ****ing real they are on one side of the ring and again may very well be biased in favor of the star fighter and alot of times those guys are drinking at the fights.
its okay you have your version of what you saw, I am calling it how I see it, being that I have been in the ring myself, being that I currently work with fighters, I think its safe to say that just because you may be winning rounds, it does not mean your dominating the fight.
in this sport we have what you call game plan, and I beleive Victors plan was to force a high paced fight which he did, Floyd threw 208 shots according to you and Compubox, had 8 more rounds left should the Illegal cheap shot that was ruled legal never happend. and I do not believe he could have maintained that pace, and I do beleive Victors plan was to turn it on in the mid rounds....
Floyd knew that to, thats why he as he said in his own words did not hear Cortez call time in, and what goes around comes around, Floyd knew he could have been DQ'd there in his own words, came out lucky his daddy cortez sold out for him, but clearly he looked for a way out and found it, and now after saying he can get a rematch look at the actions of a man who dominated this kid?
the money he genorated from the 1st fight, he could make more as controversy does sell, and since is supposed to be easy money, easy work why are we ducking a rematch?
Perhaps thats because like Pacquiao you dont think you can pull out even an ortiz win at this point.
Thats what he is showing us....
First of all, Mayweather wouldn't intentionally headbutt Ortiz if he was losing the fight. Second of all, Mayweather would NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER leave himself in the position to get knocked out like that. NEVER.
Ask yourself this...if Mayweather headbutted Ortiz and than Mayweather tried to apologize 3-4 times, and again after the ref motioned them to fight again, and than Ortiz knocked him out...would you be saying that Ortiz was wrong???? NO WAY! You'd be saying Mayweather got exactly what he deserved.
If Ortiz had the fight even, or was landing as much as Mayweather was, or having more success...than hell yeah give Ortiz a rematch. He was even with you Floyd. But, Mayweather landed 73 punches to Ortiz 26, and Ortiz landed 6-7 of those on rabbit punches behind Mayweather's head. Go watch the fight. Also, even in the 4th round, when Ortiz was "coming back", Floyd out landed him 22-9 up until the headbutt. Those were Floyd's first 4 rounds in 16 months and he's a known slow starter. Ortiz was "getting warmed up"...Ortiz is known as a totally fast starter. He is known for explosive offense, and Mayweather had him neutralized completely. He landed about 20 punches through 4 rounds, and about 6 rabbitt punches on the back of Floyd's head in the clinches.
FLOYD MAYWEATHER WOULD NEVER LEAVE HIMSELF OPEN TO GET KNOCKED OUT LIKE THAT. Also, Ortiz was smiling after the fight, and instead of fighting whent he ref motioned them together, he looked at the ref for some odd reason, even after Floyd hit him with the left hook. Also, Victor didn't even attempt to get up hardly at all. He doesn't deserve a rematch unless he were to beat Berto or Khan.
Quit using compubox you ****** fucking ******.
Compubox: Ortiz Threw 37 punches in rd4. go count for me.
Compubox: May landed 26 shots in rd 4. go count that too.
After that come back and try to use compubox as an argument.

HBO on the PPV non edited edition, shows Mayweather landin 13 power shots in round two, Get the **** out of here with that **** and Ortiz only landing like 3 shots are you serious?
and Lederman gave Ortiz round 2, doest that ****ing make any sense?
I have no interests in seeing this fight again, but I know for a fact that Floyd told Larry Merchant something like "If Victor wants a rematch, we can do it again". So why is he now accusing Vic of begging?

Actually, in round 2 they had Floyd landing 13 power shots to Victor's 8, and that Ortiz' best round. you're in the ring, good for you...so I guess you know more than the professionals that follow professional boxing??? I scored round 2 as an even round. Where exactly did you see Victor landing all these punches??? i saw Floyd landing straight rights all night long. Even when the 4th round started, he threw a couple 4-5 punch combo's, and Ortiz was like "What the f**k do I do now???". Just because Ortiz got him on the ropes for about 5 seconds a few times doesn't mean he was landing man. Why else do you think he threw a headbutt??? Because even when he was "coming on" at the end of round 4, how many of those punches landed??? 2, 3 at the most, where as Floyd had already landed over 20 times in that round. If you're being completely honest about the fight and not hating on Mayweather, he was clearly winning the fight and landing far more often, and he hadn't even fought in 16 months, and he was fighting a prime fighter who out weighed him by 14 lbs on fight night. You gotta admit, Floyd looked pretty good.
Also, go cry me a river about illegal punches to knock out Ortiz. Since you're in the ring, when the ref motions you back to the center of the ring and says "lets go", do you apologize again and look toward the ref??? NO.
Also, Victor was leaning in with his head all night, making contact with Floyd's chin. Go watch the fight. Also, watch out for Victor's rabbitt punches that were hitting Floyd on the back of his head. If you don't count the rabbitt punches that Ortiz landed, which was about 6-7, he landed like 20 punches. Damn, he was coming on and winning the fight. Floyd also out worked him, which is funny because Floyd never out works anyone in a fight anymore.

And everyone in the business does it, but "Yesterday I was lying, today I'm telling the truth.."
What's new its Floyd the ***en pathological liar and the undisputed king of contradiction? He even admitted on a video that he'll say everything the public wants to hear.
