    Mayweather-Ortiz...No rematch!!!

Al Haymon came out yesterday and said there will not be a rematch for Victor Ortiz. He said the demand for the rematch is not there, Floyd did nothing illegal, and it doesn't make sense.

It's hard not to agree with him. The public demand, with the exception of Pac lovers, does not want a rematch. They saw that Mayweather was clearly out classing Ortiz throughout, and Ortiz had his shot. He blew it. Also, a mreatch doesn't really make sense. No one can honestly say they want to see Mayweather-Ortiz 2 because it's clear Ortiz is good, but not nearly good enough to beat Floyd.

    What do you think???

mayweather said he will rematch ortiz if he beats berto again

its possible if he starts campaigning for it... later on in a few fights if ortiz gets some solid wins at 140 or 147, polishes his skills, accustoms himself to the ppv stage, gets more recognition, and him and the fans clamour for the rematch

and if mayweather stays active and doesnt lose

It's all Mayweather's fault though... I mean he actually punched at Ortiz with his fists... what was he thinking? He indeed outclassed him why... I mean Ortiz doesn't care about opinions with the exception of himself and how dare Mayweather to outhandle him, outpunch him, out do him in everything - Ortiz is the greatest ever and was just warming up - how dare Mayweather to beat up his eye - if the great one is just warming up how dare Mayweather to interrupt his warming up routine...

If I was Ortiz I wouldn't give him a rematch either... I mean Ortiz ain't lost in his mind... he was just warming up - Ortiz is the winner of the people why should he give Mayweather another shot at greatness... no Ortiz should go on and fight Pacquiao - Pacquiao is deserving of this... two greats - I just hope that Pacquiao is friendly enough to let Victor warm up... or it will be another 4 rounder...

Mayweather doesn't deserve it... somebody should cut his elbows and hands - so he can learn to fight like a real man - with headbutts - it's time Floyd learns the sweet science... this is Ortiz's moment he can't now let a looser like Mayweather interrupt - he is now the face of boxing and is calling the shots...

Would you want a rematch if Ortiz KO'd Floyd as they were breaking up the hug? Or would you say "Ortiz did nothing Illegal, it was fair, no rematch needed"

First of all, Mayweather wouldn't intentionally headbutt Ortiz if he was losing the fight. Second of all, Mayweather would NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER leave himself in the position to get knocked out like that. NEVER.

Ask yourself this...if Mayweather headbutted Ortiz and than Mayweather tried to apologize 3-4 times, and again after the ref motioned them to fight again, and than Ortiz knocked him out...would you be saying that Ortiz was wrong???? NO WAY! You'd be saying Mayweather got exactly what he deserved.

If Ortiz had the fight even, or was landing as much as Mayweather was, or having more success...than hell yeah give Ortiz a rematch. He was even with you Floyd. But, Mayweather landed 73 punches to Ortiz 26, and Ortiz landed 6-7 of those on rabbit punches behind Mayweather's head. Go watch the fight. Also, even in the 4th round, when Ortiz was "coming back", Floyd out landed him 22-9 up until the headbutt. Those were Floyd's first 4 rounds in 16 months and he's a known slow starter. Ortiz was "getting warmed up"...Ortiz is known as a totally fast starter. He is known for explosive offense, and Mayweather had him neutralized completely. He landed about 20 punches through 4 rounds, and about 6 rabbitt punches on the back of Floyd's head in the clinches.

FLOYD MAYWEATHER WOULD NEVER LEAVE HIMSELF OPEN TO GET KNOCKED OUT LIKE THAT. Also, Ortiz was smiling after the fight, and instead of fighting whent he ref motioned them together, he looked at the ref for some odd reason, even after Floyd hit him with the left hook. Also, Victor didn't even attempt to get up hardly at all. He doesn't deserve a rematch unless he were to beat Berto or Khan.

Good news. The rematch would be even more boring.
