Manny can only beat a guy that cooperates and Floyd will not cooperate. Manny's speed matters against slower fighters but what happens with a guy thats faster? Floyd mastered fighting southpaws and will easily master Manny. There is absolutely nothing Manny can do. He's shorter, slower, wild and has a much shorter reach. Manny brings ass to get ass but against Floyd that will easily be his downfall which is why I personally dont believe the fight will ever happen.

It's nothing new to get hit. Even Floyd gets hit. Just not often and not cleanly. Actually quite minimal compared to other fighters. It's also nothing new when you open yourself up and walk someone down you're bound to get hit. Against a southpaw, chances of getting hit are higher. With that said, Ortiz didn't land anything significantly on Floyd Mayweather while Floyd busted Ortiz' right eye with precision right hands. And you have to be an idiot to think that Floyd would fight with a specific style and stick to it throughout the fight. He'll adjust. We all saw how Cotto and Mosley made him miss and at times make him look amateurish. Cotto and Mosley are not known for their foot work. More the lack of it actually.

You forgot to mention who beat Hatton and DLH first. Mosley too. You also forgot to mention that DLH fought at a weight he hadn't made for 10 years. Marquez hit Paquiao like no other. Yet Floyd went through him like he was target practice. You also forgot to mention that Floyd controlled a fighter 14lbs heavier than himself. No BS catchweight was involved.

Manny hasn't had a credible victory in years.
He will never be close to Mayweather in legacy, skill, or PPV buys.
At this point Floyd should just fight Amir Khan, it would prob sell more and be a more honorable win lol.
