Manny can only beat a guy that cooperates and Floyd will not cooperate. Manny's speed matters against slower fighters but what happens with a guy thats faster? Floyd mastered fighting southpaws and will easily master Manny. There is absolutely nothing Manny can do. He's shorter, slower, wild and has a much shorter reach. Manny brings ass to get ass but against Floyd that will easily be his downfall which is why I personally dont believe the fight will ever happen.

I agree, I dont see anything great about Pacquiao.

He looks good against slow, plodding, come-forward fighters, that are made to order..... but there is nothing great about him or his style.

If there was something great about Pacquiao then he wouldnt have ducked Marquez for 3 tears and then dragged him up to welter..... if there was something great about Pacquiao then he wouldnt have needed a catchweight to beat a worn, faded, vulnerable, Cotto..... if there was something great about Pacquiao he would have fought Mosley when he was still a threat instead of blatantly ducking him..... and if there was something great about Pacquiao, he would have fought a genuine JMW.

Just on styles alone I think that Mayweather will dominate him, and Freddie will stop it late.

They are not just protecting Pacquiao from Mayweather because Manny's marketability will drop, they are protecting him from Mayweather because not only does Floyd have a chance to beat Manny, unlike Pacs previous 8 opponents, his dominant victory will raise all sorts of question, and even ignorant casual fans will start to wonder about Manny's carefully manufactured resume'.

That fight hasnt happened yet because Mayweather is a highly skilled ring technician, very fast, a dangerous counter-puncher, and right on top of his game..... Pac doesnt fight those guys anyway, let alone Mayweather.
