  • Morales would have likely have beaten Floyd, but Floyd probably wouldnt have fought him.

Most people think Morales beat Madaina, Ortiz conqueror. Flooyd would never have beaten, let alone fight Madiana as an old boxer.

    • I felt that Mayweather has a good chance to beat Pac, but the way he fought Ortiz, if it was Pac, I definitely feel he would have less of a chance.

Ortiz did connect with Mayweather, but more importantly, Pac would get chances to hit May on the ropes etc... and those situations are more likely to help Pac win.

I personally don't think Pac can get KO'd now.

First it was drug testing now its his money. Come on how naive can you be. You do not have to liek Manny at all and can bash his fights just as people bash Floyds but at the end of the day this fight really lies on Floyds court.

If Floyd really wanted this fight it would have happened. With Floyds personality if Manny truely ducked it he would have done what Floyd does and provoked Manny until the fight happened. People need to stop being blinded by hate for these boxers and thier fan base.

Nothing against you reloaded and I know you do have valid points but in all honesty like I said before, if Floyd wanted this fight it would have happened. FLoyd has way more control to make this happen than PAc does.

This is the **** that is really hurting boxing. Actually there needs to be a freaking boxing reform.
What people need to understand is that it doesn't seem like bothers Mayweather, at least not to the point that he's willing to go against his principles and what he wants to do. People have been accusing him of ducking fighters for years, ever since he became a "star". You say that if Mayweather waned the fight then it would have happened, and I think that's what we saw with the 1st round of negotiations. Mayweather agreed to all of Team Pacquiao's stipulations or requests, and even bent on the 1 stipulation that he asked for, yet Team Pacquiao still walked away making several weak excuses for doing so. Why is that ignored by so-called reasonable Pacquiao fans?

I disagree with you on the highlighted part. I think, in a Pacquaio fight, Mayweather will not be the aggressor like he did with Ortiz. He will go back to his counterpunching style. Pac is always aggressive and always comes forward. With his porous defense, Mayweather will simply nail him with one right hand after another every time Pac misses and an occasional left hook and a stiff jab because Pac has a bad habit of dropping his right hand when he throws the left. By the end of the sixth round, Pac's left eye will be closed. By the end of the 8th, his whole face will be busted up and Roach will be on the verge of stopping it. Roach will stop it in the 9th. Same outcome. Same easy work.

Thats how I see it. Mayweather will be controlling the distance and pace by the 3rd round and Roach will stop it late.

            • Too bad Mayweather is not as confident in victory as most here are.
