If Floyd Mayweather is faster than Manny Pacquiao in the ring that night, then Floyd Mayweather will be able to counter effectively, land straight rights all night, and frustrate Manny all night long.

If Manny Pacquiao is faster that night, then Pacquiao who is very heavy handed will do some damage and do something no opponent has been fast enough to do to Floyd and that is catch him flush several times. If this happens I could see Floyd going down.

Alas this is still just a pipedream to us boxing fans unless both these guys can sign on the dotted line.

Great speed can be neutralize by good timing. You're not gonna beat a guy to the punch/es who's faster than you if you're exchanging punches with him at close range. But if you keep your distance [You don't necessarily need to move backward much] at long punching reach range and patiently time the faster guy leaping/jumping in to closing in the gap, then you'll have a better chance of beating him to the punch/es first. While Manny may be slightly faster than Floyd is, Floyd's timing is much more consistent.

LOL, yet it's taking almost 3 yrs to put on a fight in which many believe one guy (Mayweather) will make easy work of another guy (Pacquiao). Sounds like an SNL skit.

Delusional statements like yours only make it seem like Pacquiao fans don't really believe that he has a chance against Mayweather.

This convo never ended and it won't end until Pacquiao truly agrees to take the test. Not him and Bob Arum standing in front of the camera telling lies whilst both fighters are already booked to face different opponents and aren't even in negotiations.

the way floyd has been acting on this fight, pac would treat floyd like any of his previous opponents especially when floyd starts to feel pac's "power". he'd wish he had the clottey defense. who the phuck are we kidding? there's a reason why this fight is not happening. floyd is scared for his life. he'll never fight pacquiao. end of story.

Pac will overwhelm Floyd with his speed, punch angles, and aggression if Floyd ever mans up ans faces him.

He actually looked great in the fight before Pac started catching him and broke him down. I know you have some fantasy where Mayweather just blows Pac out of the water but that's where it ends, with your fantasy. If Mayweather wins, he's going to know he was in a fight and that's the real reason the fight hasn't happened.
Prime has nothing to do with age, Cotto was prime in 2007-2008.

Thats what I got, wife-beater by late TKO with Freddie throwing in the towel.

You can forgot that 1200+ ****, Pacquiao's output will plummet due to being unable to close the distance, Mayweathers defence/accuracy, and those pinpoint counters/leads..... and my guess is that Trampler and Arum agree with me, hence the excuses and roundabouts.
