Darren Barker has fans, I know a shocker but he does and his promoter match room is offering packages for fans to come here which means money. UK fight fans travel, Russian ones typically don't.

Martinez tried to fight Chavez and Sturm who both rejected him. so he took Barker. Geale's promoter said he needed a few more fights to build him up and would be ready in 2012-2013

what's Pirog done? seriously he beat an argentine cab driver and now he's facing another tomato can. since he KOed Jacobs he's beat 2 tomato cans, I hardly call that building himself up.

Pirog can sit in Russia and fire shots but he isn't doing anything to make a name for himself.

If you were Cotto, would you pass up $5 million guaranteed? The only other fighters who consistently make more per fight are Floyd and Pac. It's not like he has an easy fight ahead of him. It will be a bigger war than a fight vs martinez.
Let's give Cotto a break. Of all the active fighters out there, he has practically fought everybody. He wants to try and avenge a brutal KO loss against a punching machine/tank. Wrong!! He didn't fight some of the top 140 pounders like Hatton, Mayweather and others. At WW, instead of fighting Williams for the belt, he waited for him to vacate it and fight Jennings instead. Also, he fought Gomez when he could of faced a legit top WW and let Margarito get the wear and tear against Cintron who was a legit top WW. At 154, Cotto's opponents have been a joke.

Cotto is a small jr middleweight...martinez fights at 160 mayweather and pac fight at 147...I dont see him calling out Ward or Bute they fight at 168...i wonder why? Stop making excuses for Cotto. These Bob Arum fighters like Pac and Cotto need to stop this CW nonsense. If he's to small to defend his jr middleweight crown against any and all challenges, then he should not hold a title at that weight and should drop back down to 147.
