Damn man. This shit is sad. Making money as an excuse of why you won't fight certain guys? I've always clowned Cotto and his fans, but this just totally gives me ammo. Lol. This is the first time I have heard Cotto use money as an excuse not to fight someone. Always felt he was protected in the sense and aspect of being a yes man for Bob Arum even though he has some good and decent fighters on his resume. But even then, you never heard him talk about fighting for money. His fans need to retract their statements about this warrior stuff on the real.

If you were Cotto, would you pass up $5 million guaranteed? The only other fighters who consistently make more per fight are Floyd and Pac. It's not like he has an easy fight ahead of him. It will be a bigger war than a fight vs martinez.
Let's give Cotto a break. Of all the active fighters out there, he has practically fought everybody. He wants to try and avenge a brutal KO loss against a punching machine/tank.
