Hatton vs Cotto was never really discussed until after they had both been beaten by Paq, Hatton would have had his ass handed to him by Cotto anyway. Cotto could not make 140 anymore and Hatton didnt belong at 147 as evidenced by the Collazo fight. He was getting his ass beat and got a gift. As for Margo, he didnt take wear and tear from Cintron, he beat Cintron like a *****, using gloves that were likely loaded, and then likely used the same loaded gloves to beat Cotto, and it still took eleven rounds. As good as Martinez is, he just doesn't have a big fanbase. Which is ironic because everyone always brings up his good looks, seems like he'd be marketable. Boxing is a tough business if you're not with the big names, which makes me believe Cotto isn't going to pay attention to Martinez to the day he retires.
