    Vince,

just a question. Why would you be so excited about a fight whose outcome you perceive to be set in stone already?

Do you, by any chance, y'know, dislike Carl Froch?

He would also have a loss.

In terms of speed, it's a good job that Froch is very very slow.

I agree but Dirrells movement would have given Ward tons of problems imo..I would have picked Dirrell in that fight as well..

Hey...who's this? Calling me by my first name?

I'm going to be excited because Ward will have won the Super Six and dominated everybody that he's faced. Especially Froch, since alot of people think that he Froch is the one to beat him. Not only that, but I don't think many people picked him to win the tourney. There has been alot of whining since Ward dominated Kessler and I really can't wait to hear more whining after he beats Froch. And I don't have anything against Froch at all. He's just facing my 2nd favorite fighter...sucks for him...

Not really because like Ward Froch would have had all his fights at home...

I agree that it's been less of a factor in a couple of his Championship fights, but he's used it with regularity to point-scoring and range-controlling effect in the others - of those latter, the rounds where he'd disregarded his jab were typically the ones where he experienced less success.

You can argue that Kessler's jab is more effective. My point is more that it's unfair to say that Froch's jab is just not good at all (he uses it in a few different ways to a few different effects, too, so it's a versatile tool).

It works both ways. Dirrell has never faced anyone with Ward's speed and movement as well. The difference is, Ward can switch styles. Dirrell? Not so much. Dirrell doesn't have the versatility or gonads to hang with Ward.

                    So what?

He still would have lost to Kessler whether it was in Froch's hometown, Kessler's hometown, or the Desert.

Atleast he would have deserved to have lost. Regardless to if they gave the decision to Froch like they did in the Dirrell fight.

                    Because Kessler clearly beat Froch.
