It was a good fight because of the unknown freakshow factor. But then oscar came in like a shriveled zombie and after the 4th or so round it was just a sad sorry matchup. That being said, do people today think a non-weight drained oscar would have beat manny that night?

      extremely underrated.

one of pac's top 5 wins.

people are so fixated with the weight to the point that they deluded themselves that its the only factor in the fight

Tell you what, one of you clowns go back 7.5 years check what you weighed then, then try to make that weight now and try to do any sort of physical activity at all...much less try to fight one of the greatest fighters in the history of the sport.

One if the biggest scams in boxing history. Manny knows it and Freddie knew it before the fight. Anybody who knows boxing knows Oscar was not capable of safely making that weight and performing at a high level...and yes I know Oscar was the one who made the weight stipulation. It was a ****** move by a fighter who was trying to get one last pay day.

I don't blame Manny for the weight thing, and frankly Manny went in there and did EXACTLY what he was supposed to do and looked spectacular doing it, and I give him al ot of credit for that. However, for anyone to say that is one of his top5 wins considering the weight issue and the point Oscar was at in his career is completely ludacris. how could you POSSIBLY put that win over Barrera, Morales, 2 Marquez fights, or Cotto?

pac didn't win one of the marquez fights.

also, oscar was out throwing pac the first few rounds. people are taking the weight thing way out of proportions

You must be a ****** or you're just lying to yourself. It wasn't no good fight, we all know PAC doesn't or shouldn't even be in the ring with Oscar. Oscar is a big ass dude who could knock out PAC at any moment. Oscar coming in the way he did is his own fault, nobody knew he was going to be like that. I thought he was going to bloat up to 160. The only reason I see PAC taking the fight is for the good money.

And, what will happen? You act like everyone is the same.

Glen Johnson, went back down to 168, 11 years after he moved up to 175 and won his first fight at 168, when he went back down.

Funny how before hand, everybody thought that this was a mismatch in Oscar favor.

After the fact, everyone knew that Pac was going to win.

That's because nobody thought Oscar was going to come in a walking skeleton. You can't honestly say that his condition didn't play a major part in the fight. He was a shell of a shell of the old Oscar that night.
