pac can beat ANYONE when he is fighting like he did that night.

his left hand was so ****ing fast that night. You couldn't even see it. It's not like Oscar is slow and he looked damn slow against pac. I admit though that weight **** probably took Oscars punch resistance away dramatically. I also wanna say Pacquiao has filled out more at WW and he's hitting hella harder and is tougher because of it. Pacquiao looked like a LW against Oscar but as he's filled out he's looked solid. Like against cotto and clottey.

Hatton showed he hadn't found a way to move his head and he had wins over subpar fighters.

De La Hoya beat a sparring partner and was coming DOWN to a weight class he hasn't fought at in years!

Antonio Margarito had a comeback win over a nobody which he still looked like **** in. Stop acting like a win is a win. These guys had wins against nobodies before they fought Pac.
Cotto actually looked sharp against Pacquiao. He was fast and trim. He just got tagged and the fight went down hill.

And just for kicks... SUPERB footwork and head movement, Oscar was completely befuddled:

i think this is Manny's favorite fight

i think Manny had a misconception about Oscar and viewed him as a legendary fighter. Manny confused legend with being popular

Oscar has always been a celebrity first, prize fighter second.

He beat the **** out of a media darling and took his place on the mantle

People take away from that win because Oscar has been a part time fighter for a while and he came to a weight class he really couldnt make anymore. Not too mention how bad he looked at the weigh in. Still a lot of this was oscars fault. He took the Manny fight because he though it would be easier than facing magarito at a weight he was more comfortable at.

a bit risky, but roach already knew that ODLH was done for. he said so himself

i think the pac oscar fight showed what most people overlook when viewing pac as a fighter...

that pac is not simply a demolition machine...

but a demolition machine that thinks, plans and make adjustments...

pac is so underrated as a brilliant/cerebral fighter as people are first drawn to his power, speed, relentlessness and big heart ..

Stevie "2 pounds" Forbes gave Oscar a hairline fracture of the cheek bone, and left his face looking like this.

Roach knew it was the perfect time to get to Oscar, and that's why they called him out. So I'm not as high on this win as others, but he did what he was suppose to do given the circumstances.
