That's because Vic knew he was in the wrong but will play the victim if it gets him another fight (million dollar pay check).

People need to understand;
IF Vic wouldn't have head butted FLoyd he wouldn't have been KO'ed
IF Vic wouldn't have tried to grab ass he wouldn't have been KO'ed

He lost every round and was just getting technically destroyed before pushing Floyd up on the ropes and hardly landing anything which resulted to frustration and ultimately a leaping head butt. Vic was the problem, Floyd was the solution and only did as directed which was to continue on while Ortiz still wanted to hug and kiss... that is unacceptable. This wasn't the Pac vs Mosley fight.... people should know Floyd don't play that game. Mosley knew... know Ortiz knows and knowing is half the battle! I bet Ortiz want grab ass in a fight again.

i agree with floyd victor wouldve gone in the later rounds i think. but come on man you're an elite athlete. on of the best in the sport today if not the best why do the shady ****. yeah the blow was legal but he knew victor wasn't ready. have some respect. and yes victor was in the wrong for headbutting. i think victor wouldve been ko'd or lost a ud. but come on floyd don't give people more of a reason to dislike you.

agree, im not saying ortiz would have won although Ortiz was landing a lot more than i think any of us thought he would. Before the bs happened victor had floyd on the ropes and was pounding him. I think victor did the right thing using his head when floyd clinches but that headbutt was ridiculous hahaha.

not a floyd fan but he was doing good work and i think he would have won ud. but victor did start landing some good hard body punches.may have made a difference in the later rounds. legal shot but that just looks bad on floyd. he tried that same **** on mosley, mosley would be apologizing and floyd would throw that straight right at him.

Floyd threw and landed more than Ortiz in BOTH rounds you say Ortiz "won"..

1) Ortiz's last head butt was the most flagrant. From the previous round onwards, Floyd was pulling away towards a comfortable win and Victor's frustration was too much for his inexperience. Or he's a dirty fighter. I think it was the former.

2) Floyd's sucker punches, justified with the "protect yourself at all times" mantra, again, showcases why having lots of dough does not equate to class. OK, he had just been fouled; he was pissed. And he retaliated. The first left should've been enough to send a message. But he used the confusion to drill Ortiz with a second right. Technically, Floyd's action was within the rules. But his sportsmanship stinks.

3) When you're guaranteed a big wad of cash before the first punch is thrown, mistakes are easier to swallow. Whether Ortiz was playing for the cameras or not, his post-fight demeanor failed to indicate the fact that he had just fcuked up real bad. It was like, oh well, ***** happens, it's all good (i.e. I got my $2.5 million).

4) Thankfully, Larry Merchant knows how to push buttons. It didn't take much to get Floyd riled up about the sucker punches. Larry's "kick your ass" comment was unprofessional. It made the download worthwhile.
