This is what's the problem with boxing these days. Scores don't tell the whole story. Most of those punches Floyd landed were jabs that didn't even hurt Ortiz. Ortiz landed power shots which counts in the judges' eyes. Man go **** yourself.

Agree with you brother. Mayweather wasn't dominating ortiz. I thought it
was a close fight with mayweather winning slightly. I think rounds 5-8 wouldve been interesting

LMFAO! I cant beleive ppls are still saying that the fight was even or that Victoria seemed like he had the blueprint to beat him...Even when he had Floyd in the corner he still was missing his shots, thats why he threw a head butt from sheer fear and frustration...LMAO! Haters will always Hate.. Granted, maybe it wasn't the most sportmanslike move.. but i never knew Boxing is about kisses and hugs...You head butt a person like FLoyd, you better be ready to endure the wrath he unleashes at you...Even if you are Larry Hater Merchant... The biggest hater in Boxing... Give the man his props old man...

that whole comment of yours was based on bull**** lemme guess, you are a christian right??

you guys have no idea how the world works.

had mayweather stopped 4 rounds later it wouldnt have mattered as floyd states continuously

"i will never get my just due."

sportsmanship, what does that mean?? Winners take it all and losers take the fall.

Winners are smart and cunning. Losers hope everything works out fine.

What in the hell is sportsmanship??

I could see if floyd was doing something illegal, but thats not the case.

If i was in the ring in the same situation with ortiz he would have gotten hit with more than x2 shots, i would have hit his ass with a 2 piece and a biscuit and threw in the napkins and straws as well. Goddamn it i would have given him extra ketchup as well.

What Floyd proves to me is the following. You can be a world class athlete and own a nice big home and have all the bling and fancy cars and all the money one could possibly desire. And in the end still be absolutely classless. Actually I am wrong because Floyd happens to have a lot of class it just happens to be all low. And I am not even taking about the fight.

Ok, so ortiz got a little excited and tried to headbutt Mayweather. He paid the price by getting a point deducted. Headbutts happen pretty frequently in boxing. I'm not saying it's legit, but it's normal in an exchange. Now what Mayweather did was dirty, conniving, and completely unsportman-like behavior on his part. he pretended to accept Ortiz Apology and embrace but the minute victor backs up he tags him with two shots? WTF is that? A real champion doesn't need to sucker punch someone in order to win a bout. I lost all respect I had for you Mr Mayweather and you will never get another red cent from my pocket. too bad you never had a roll model in life to show you manners. you need some soul searching bro.

Sportsmanship means I don't cheat or resort to dirty tactics to the extent allowed by the referee of the evening - even if the other fighter subscribes to a different agenda.

It means I respect my opponent as a fellow competitor and abide by rules (especially those related to safety) not because they're enforced on me but because I want to comply for the betterment of the sport.

Essentially it means I uphold my integrity and as a byproduct represent the boxing community positively.

IMO both fighters failed in that department on Saturday (although Ortiz did try to apologize for his crap).

Floyd's been beatin up on dirty fighters ever since I can remember.... .... When you think about it, Pacwoman and sorryazz Martinez don't deserve a big pay-day. If they agree to accept maybe just a couple million dollars each they can get a fight with Floyd Mayweather today, but they just a little too greedy (for their skill level).

Just take a look at their records if you don't believe me.THEY DONE BOTH HAD THEIR MONEY TOOK and THEIR AZZES WHUPPED.

And Always remember: When you head butt the BULL you get the horns b!tch
