In the fourth round, Ortiz had Mayweather backed up against the ropes and was throwing punches, but then used he intentionally fouled Mayweather with his head. Ortiz lost a point but then went over to hug Mayweather and touch gloves, when Ortiz backed away from the hug and looked for a split second at referee Joe Cortez, Mayweather unleashed two big shots to knock him out.

Ortiz lost fair and square, he should have been cautious after fouling like that. He made the mistake of taking his mind off the game.

HELLS NAW!!!!!! The ref never said fight, or raised his hand to commence fighting which is what's suppose to happen when a point is taken, so that's hitting on the break which is an automatic disqualification and loss to Mayweather. That fool was getting hit and felt it, and he knew he was gonna lose, ****in *****!!!!!!!!!!

Ortiz's DIRTY ASS got what he DESERVED!! & Mayweather is RIGHT!! The fight was going fine & Mayweather was winning the fight(Clean!) until Ortiz hit him with that OBVIOUS HEAD BUTT!! & then he tried to apologize like everything was OK & the ref said "GO"(NOT BREAK, like Ortiz NOW claims) & it was his ****** ASS'S fault he didn't put his hands up, cause like Mayweather said & ALL REF'S SAY BEFORE THE FIGHT STARTS "PROTECT YOUR SELF AT ALL TIMES!" Ortiz had his hands down & it was fare game, so Mayweather RIGHTFULLY clocked him & Ortiz was fine after the 1st punch & looked at the ref to see if the ref would help him or something & his ****** ASS STILL KEPT his hands down so Floyd just DROPPED IT on his jaw & KO'd his DIRTY ASS!!!

You must have been watching this fight with the sound down, Cortez clearly said to them "fight on".

Ortiz wanted to be all friendly after headbutting but Mayweather wasn't going to let him have another chance to foul him.
