an unexpected sucka punch is not considered KO cuz he wouldnt have done that if it wasnt a sucka punch; cheap ass way to win for self-proclaimed G.O.A.T.; that tinto lost more fans for that ***** move yesterday

You guys are dumb. Ortiz says Mayweather doesn't have a stiff right, okay but take a shot when you're not looking and unprepared rather than expecting it and tell me which hurts more. Obviously you guys don't box.

A nobody? Lol doubt it. Mayweather just gave Ortiz a ton of fans. Get used to seeing Ortiz on PPV

Gesturing the fighters together does not indicate the action is to resume, it indicates the fighters are suppose to come together, which is what Ortiz did.

Either way, it was disgusting. The first hook, okay. You got even, I can understand that. Foul for foul, but then you took it up a notch, saw that Ortiz was unaware of your intention to resume the action, and uncorked a right hand on a man who was not only unprepared, but not even looking at you.

That is not only disgusting, but dangerous.
Wow. Couldn't have said it better myself. Been saying this since last night. The first shot was okay but the second once was cheap. I also never saw the ref call time in. This should be changed for sure and we should have an immediate rematch with a new ref and non PPV. I've been wondering how Cortez called a knockdown he didn't see. For all he knows Mayweather could have head butted him.

Im sure if i got two undefended punches on floyd he'd be seing stars aswell look at the yanks trying to say floyd has power what planet are you on ? ask dirrel how much undefended shots hurt they can cause serious serious injury.

Floyd used his elbow on ortiz so Ortiz retaliated with a headbutt cortez lost control and comunication of the fight and fighters floyd knew what he was doing he came in close took a little look up and right there you can clearly see his intentions and then on the break cheap shot no defending those actions this kind of **** makes me want to to turn away from boxing why can it never just go normaly no early stoppage no bad score cards no blatent cheating and racism no bad refereing its getting werse

That fool was getting hit and felt it, and he knew he was gonna lose. Read the rules people!!!!!
watch the replay dude. cortez clearly re-engaged the action.

So, you can talk semantics but it looks like a sucker punch/combo and for all intents and purposes it IS a sucker punch. One guy wasn't looking and the other whacked him = sucker punch.

Ortiz could have been thrown out for the headbutt though.

Disappointing end, especially to a Mayweather fight. He gets less slack than most fighters for stuff like this because he fights once every year-and-a-half.

he was getting hit? what the hell fight you were watching. by the time of the stoppage floyd landed 70 punches to ortiz's 20. how bout your boy ortiz was getting hit and felt it and with no answers to floyds accuracy he fights dirty by head butting him. he got what he deserved for fighting dirty and thats get put on his ass. he should have kept his hands up.
