The only fighter i could say Mayweather ducked is Margarito, I didnt need this thread or comments from Mayweather to know that Mayweather didnt duck Cotto, People can pull out the "Cotto lives in PR" qoute all they want but when you look at things with a boxing eye you would know Top rank didnt want Cotto in there yet at that time, Margarito however was pushed unto the Mayweather fight because they didnt really care about Rito at that time.

When Mayweather fought V. Sosa, Cotto fought on the undercard. Mayweather challenged Cotto then but Cotto was only 14-0 and his trainers said they would take the fight against the champion after Cotto gets more experiance. In 2005 Mayweather twice said in interviews on HBO he had no interest in a Cotto fight, once because Cotto was not famous enough. Mayweather wanted a 14-0 Cotto but as soon as Cotto had the experiance he was not worthy?
Mayweather has been avoiding fighters for a while now and later says he wanted the fight. Nothing new here!
