So what you are saying is that Arum didn't assist Cotto in ducking Floyd in 05 EVENTHOUGH Arum went on record to say Cotto wasn't ready for him but Floyd ducked Cotto in 08? Floyd semi retired after Hatton in 07 and was away from the sport in 08. Margarito smashed Cotto in 08. Prior to Cotto losing, Roger Mayweather said that they were looking at a fight with Cotto if he beat Margarito. Listen, I like Miguel Cotto's attitude as a person but as a boxer, I have never been highly impressed but he has been in some entertaining fights. Fact of the matter is that once Cotto's competition got a lil tougher, he started looking not so dominate. Never saw Cotto beating Floyd (Wish the fight would have happened though) but my analytical take on it is that Floyd was too fast and accurate for Cotto who gets hit by everything you throw at him.

agree...05 was when cotto was almost beaten by ricardo ****ing torres. 08 was when cotto is ready to fight floyd. that's the time the fight should've happened. 05 is irrelevant...should've been a cherrypick for floyd against a green cotto.

Wasn't Cotto the WBO Junior Welterweight champion in 05 AND was at the Gatti fight with Hatton to scout out Floyd who was fighting his buddy (Henry Bruseles), who was trained by his uncle Evangelista Cotto? Floyd was moving up from 135 when Cotto was a chamipon defending his title at 140. That was a whole new division for Floyd and Cotto was green? Think Clottey, Margarito and Mosley. As for your testing thoery, Pac shouldn't have a problem then.

When's the last time Pac fought a Champion? Or even a fighter that looked good coming off a win?
