Thats just an idiotic lie Floyd just thought up.

Makes no sense. If he wanted to fight Cotto in 05, why did he duck him whenever Cotto called him out? Why did he go on another vacation?

Floyd never wanted to fight him, and cotto called him out TONS of times.

Cotto was too green, he called floyd out and as you guys keep stating he wanted floyd in 2008. Only one problem though COTTO HAS NEVER BEEN TOO GOOD!!! WHO HAS HE BEATEN?? HE WAS BEATEN IN 2008 BY MARGARITO!!! I have noticed something, everyone that hollers floyd ducked this person and that person, they say all of this now, but why is it that all these mutha****as get knocked out??? They are so great , so good, yet they can't even go x1 year after they call out floyd without losing.

My question is why was every one of Cotto's belts a vacant title until he beat Yuri Foreman?

Answer: Cotto cherry-picked every opponent to be seen as a champ, but only fought challengers to be called a supposed champion himself.

Cotto knows this. Look at his record. He ducked every champion in 2 divisions and exclusively competed for vacant titles just like Pacquiao. You CANNOT be a champion without beating a champion.

Cotto was never in any position to be calling out anyone. Seeming like you're at the top isn't the same as being at the top.
