haha this made me chuckle. when cotto was regarded as the most dangerous 147lbs fighter in the world floyd wanted no part of him, straight after the hatton fight was when cotto was at his peak, what happened? floyd retired. also turned down 8 million to fight margarito, again he retired

So let me understand this. You're saying Floyd should've waited for Cotto to reach his peak instead going on with his own life and career? Its funny the kind of twisted logic that being a hater will make one come up with. How was Floyd ever going to negotiate a deal with Top Rank in the first place. Then just like now Bob Arum is not truly interested in doing business with Floyd Mayweather. He just wants to pretend that he is trying to deal with Floyd while actually using it as an opportunity to slander Floyd and boost up his own fighter's name. Bob Arum is the most vindictive character in the sport of boxing. He would rather make Floyd look bad than make 10's of millions of dollars matching him up with his prize possession, Manny Pacquiao.

who the **** was cotto to duck floyd? please. it might have been in top rank's interest to let the fight gain some steam before making the fight, but a duck from either fighter is ridiculous, at least while floyd was still on top rank.
