Watch the Mayweather vs Bruseles fight and listen to the commentary. Floyd did in fact want to fight Cotto but Arum was still building Cotto's stock; trying to build Cotto as the next superstar at the time. Floyd is not fighting the pre-Berto Ortiz. He is fighting the post-Berto Ortiz. And its VERY possible that the move up makes him a much better fighter. Like it did for Cotto.

I agree with this thread...nobody is "ready" to be an opponent for Pacquiao unless they are shot, 39, and fighting at a catchweight...floyd is cherry picking coward fighting 24 year old welterweight champions...if he had real balls he would fight for vacant paper titles!!!!
