lol DAMN such hostility towards Berto! Berto has put on some good fights for us! And while he has drained HBO's budget, he still has a lot of potential to put on more exciting fights. his style just BEGS for a barn burner. he still has one of the best right uppercuts in the game. ay be easy on Berto! be eaasssyy on the dude! he's a nice cat. . .

yo secondz, but don't you think haymon had something to do with berto not signing? im sure he was devasted for his poeple in haiti, but i think haymon paid him step aside money so they could make the mosley/floyd fight.

Exactly, the problem was that he was running around with a w that should have been an l, but now that that loss is on paper, hopefully he understands that not everyone gets the superstar treatment. There are currently 2 divas in boxing, now while both are welterweights neither are named Berto. Fighters must realize that.

who exactly does Berto think are 'writing him off'? -- most boxing fans are waiting to see if he's really a top tier guy or just an exciting but limited action fighter -- he has yet to establish an identity for himself in this regard based on his career so far -- that's it in a nutshell....

lol, with Berto there was never anything special to write off. Losing to Ortiz was confirmation this guy was on Ortiz's level or just below it, and Ortiz wasn't even top 10 at 140.

Ahhhh shutup, why wont coke snorting Calzaghe come back so Andre Ward can out box him?

He's a coward just like I thought, scared to lose his undefeated record.
