I wouldnt say he wrecked Tito but he sure did outbox him cleanly and won the fight.

I believe that the Oscar who fought Chavez at 140 in their 1st fight would give both Pac and Floyd hell and I think he could have beat them honestly.

Many people tend to overrate Floyd and Pac just as much as people tend to underrate Oscar.

Oscar wasnt that good of a counterpuncher. Nor was he ever good at head movement. Oscar was too much of a robot. He liked to fight in spurts, and was never very strong in the later rounds. If Manny could survive early, i give him a shot and beating Oscar.
He was a good counter punching, nothing more or less, good head movement too, he still emphasized on defense, he's not great at it but he had a good d.

In the bold, lets say that did occur, how strong will Pacquiao be in the later rounds considering the amount of damage Oscar would have already accumulated? That's the real question.

      • Oscar would have wrecked Pac in his prime. Just his jab alone would stabilize Pacquiao. I think some of you are forgetting which kind of fighters Pac is fighting today and are getting caught up with the hype. I don't think he would KO Pac but he wouldn't have that much trouble boxing him around the ring. It wouldn't be a fair fight giving Oscar all the physical advantages.

Outside of the Quartey bout, DLH has lost EVERY major match he's ever had at and above 147. Before then he fought an aray of old fighters and hyped opponents.

He lost to Sweet Pea as well but that was just another Golden gift that DLH got.

He would have been befuddled by Floyd. Especially if he tried to bully him at the WW limit of 147lbs.
He pretty much lost to Felix Sturm as well...also a gift so he could go forward with the Hopkins fight...but I think the prime Oscar would have done much better than the Oscar who faced Floyd...I'd say that would have been a win for sure. Oscar was actually holding his own against Hopkins and even Hopkins wasn't sure if he was ahead or not before the round where he caught him with the liver shot.

            • If he almost beat floyd when he can't pull the trigger anymore then i think he can easily beat floyd in his prime but against pac is a very interesting fight.

                  • and mayweather at 130 135 was a different animal as well. he wasnt at his best and fighting at the highest weight in his career in the biggest fight of his career. oscar saying you would have beaten floyd and manny in your prime is like saying pernell and chavez would have beating you in their prime. stfu already.

                    • a past prime oscar nearly won against a prime floyd, so I think a prime oscar would have easily beaten floyd.

prime pac would still beat a prime oscar.
