2.Oscar said 2-2 and a half years. I think he knows just a little more about this than us.

3.I saw what prime Oscar didn't do to a "shell" of himself called Pernell Whitaker. But he's supposed to easily beat prime Mayweather? And no, that version of Whitaker was not better or as good as Mayweather at 30 or even 33.
      1) Sweetpea was better than Floyd

      2) Oscar was still a young fighter when he fought Whitaker

      3) Oscar just edged that fight for me, too much dancing and running from sweetpea not enough punching.

If a prime Floyd can be pushed close by a part-time past it Oscar then a prime Oscar beats him.

Floyd has never fought a fighter close to the standard of a prime Oscar.

The version that Oscar fought was not. If you think otherwise you clearly don't know what you're talking about. Oscar was in his prime for that fight. Spin it however you want. It doesn't change anything.

          4. Oscar fought Mayweather at a higher weight/bigger gloves and still clearly lost. Regardless of how you want to spin it.
Save your energy. Reasonable people know the ODH fight was not close but people that hate floyd have decided it was closer. They are like Vitali fans who think a TKO loss equals a win.

Good advice that I'll gladly take.

              • Arum kept Oscar away from Floyd the way he's keeping the Pacman away from Floyd. Look it up.

I'll disagree slightly by saying prime for prime, it would have been a close fight that would've gone either way had they fought earlier when it really mattered.

                  • Well considering that straight after the ODHL vs mayweather fighter most people i spoke to thought that Oscar done enough to win (i had it a draw) , i think there's no doubt that a fresher version of him would probably have dealt quite easily with Floyd. All pointless those because Floyd would never have got in the ring and risked his 0 against a prime or near prime DLH. I think he would have had more problems with Pacquiao due to his style (not because he is a better fighter) and that could have gone either way.

Different how? You do know Floyd was considered Top 5 p4p while those guys were roaming around, right? You may have your reservations about Pac being a little "hype" heavy, but Floyd earned his in the same era those guys came and went.
