I don't think he would have, I think he'd lose against prime Pacquiao and Mayweather every time. Now a boxer is talking about fantasy fights, I guess it really bothers him to be beaten by the best.

DelaHoya knocked out Mayorga brutally just before that fight. He was a WBC champion, fast and powerful. He lost to a better and smaller man.He had every advantage, glove size, ring, weight advantage and still got an ass whooping. This is the reason why he went on to wear fishnets and took *******,he just couldnt believe it because he knew he was at his primeComment

I think Oscar's prime was on the slide after he lost the second Mosley fight. Still good, but not at his best any more.
And, although I don't care for Oscar he may be correct, he would beat Mayweather, I don't think he'd beat MP. but it would be a very good fight.Comment

You forget that he had 15 solid Welterweight defences before he beat Oscar, went up to 154, won the title, had 2 defences including Vargas, then up to Middleweight, won the title. He was a killer, and may even have been beginning to slide a bit by then, because although only 29 he'd had over 40 solid fights. It was just his exuberence and obvious enjoyment of fighting which kept him going so well. He was one fighter I really liked.Comment
