I don't think he would have, I think he'd lose against prime Pacquiao and Mayweather every time. Now a boxer is talking about fantasy fights, I guess it really bothers him to be beaten by the best.

You forget that he had 15 solid Welterweight defences before he beat Oscar, went up to 154, won the title, had 2 defences including Vargas, then up to Middleweight, won the title. He was a killer, and may even have been beginning to slide a bit by then, because although only 29 he'd had over 40 solid fights. It was just his exuberence and obvious enjoyment of fighting which kept him going so well. He was one fighter I really liked.
