    Margarito by stoppage

How is margarito shot? What is he all about? Chin, pressure, stamina, size right?

Did he show a chin against Pacquiao? Yep. Took lots of power shots FLUSH. Didn't get dropped once

Pressure? Absolutely. It was a tough fight for Pacquiao, and margarito hurt Pacquiao to the body. Not seen that in a while...

Stamina? Yup. He was firing all 12 rounds. Threw ****loads against pac.

Yeah, Floyd is fighting a good opponent and deserves credit, but this BS about Ortiz being some incredible force has gone too far.

Ortiz quits against Margarito. It would look like the Maidana fight, except Margarito won't get knocked down.

      He doesn't have to be.

      Even at this stage:
      Margarito's chin>>>>Maidana's
      Margarito's ability to pressure>>>>Maidana's
      Margarito's power>>>Maidana's

Margarito is a 15-20lb larger version of Maidana, so it's not far fetch that even this version, who still displayed the things that are a nightmare to Ortiz style, who equal or one up what Maidana did.

You want to talk about pass performance, but blantanly over look the fact that Ortiz was ****d by Maidana, and lookd terrible in his last few fights as well.

Yes he had a solid win over Berto, but who knows how good Berto truly is and if that was a smoke screen win.

Yes he does have to be. And Margarito is not a one shot KO puncher and wasn't even in his prime. Ortiz didn't look nearly as terrible as Margarito has in his last three fights. A win over Berto is a lot better than Roberto Garcia who happens to be Magarito's one win in three fights. No matter how you look at it. I'm not just talking about past performances. I'm talking about the most recent performances. That says a lot about how much a fighter has left.

ITs a lot more debatable than people would like to think, but the reality is, if Victor can't use his power to gain Margarito's respect, which I doubt he could, he'll lose every time

            Prime for prime.

Margarito destroys this guy. If he thought he was too young to be taking that kind of punishment from Maidana. Then he probably would have retired after fighting a prime Margarito.

Today's version. At 147 Ortiz wins. At 154? I don't know, I might give the edge to Ortiz still. But, he will have a very difficult time. I'm not sure how much Marg has left. I don't know how anyone can be sure. But, I don't know how effective Ortiz can be at 154 either.

Even now I think Margarito would break down Ortiz later in the fight. Ortiz might hurt Margarito early but Antonio would keep coming forward and as the fight progressed, stop him.

I agree 100 percent that prime Margarito would walk right through Ortiz and tear him apart. But that version of Margarito is gone and not coming back. The brutal beating from Mosley had to have an effect on his mind and body. The one sided beating he took from Pacquiao finished him IMO. His next fight won't provide answers for how he would perform against top young fighters because Cotto is slipping too.

this was what i was waiting for. the ******* propoganda. just in case floyd wins decisively we have to build up his margo win to say it was better. ortiz most likely finishes margo at this point. a prime margo would beat him but im not sure weve seen the best ortiz yet. its sad that mayweather and pacquiaos d!ck measuring contest is so important to you.

Vic hits like a brick****house and Tony has had his chin cracked. Couple that with the aggression of Ortiz and Tony's lack of defense and I think this one turns into a beating.
