Victor Ortiz by Tko or UD. Margarito is NOT the same fighter, what I don't understand is how can Majority of fans think that Shane Mosley is shot, but not think the same about Margarito.

For that fact Margarito hasn't looked the same since he lost his plaster.

So if Cotto beats Margs, he shouldn't get no credit right? I mean on top of the pathetic catch weight, we got Margs all shot.

Margarito is well past his prime.

When both were in their primes Margarito won. When it mattered. This upcoming fight with the catch weight BS(both past prime) is almost meaningless to me in terms of legacy.

Exactly, Cotto gets no credit. Margarito is not the same fighter anymore.

Margarito may very well still beat Cotto.. The line is pretty close, so anyone who's 110% confident in a Cotto win should place their bets. It's boxing karma for Cotto to win big in from of a sold out and largely PR crowd. Unfortunately it doesn't always work out that way..

Ortiz is entering his prime imo and is the certainly the better well rounded boxer but i think Margarito has more left in the tank than most fans think.

I think he would break Ortiz down based on his size advantage, constant pressure and also because i don't think Ortiz is mentally strong enough to handle someone as tough and durable as Margarito over 12 rounds.

Margarito taking your best shots, laughing at you and hitting you hard straight back can mentally throw a fighter off especially Ortiz who has shown mentality issues in the past( Maidana fight).

                Margarito by late TKO.

So IYO, Ortiz would simply knock Margarito out? What round roughly?
I agree as well I think that was maybe the best Margarito I ever saw, he just was in against a beast that evening.. even at 150 he looked nowhere near as frail as he did at 147(even for the cotto fight).. Saying this I do however think he looked like ass in his return fight in mexico month's prior to the Pac fight

If you don't put Margarito away, he follows you for 12 rounds like a hungry zombie. I don't think Ortiz would hold up very well in a zombie attack. Nothing against Ortiz really, maybe this is just a bad style matchup for him.

Win or lose, I think Margarito will good enough account of himself when he fights Cotto. That ppl are going to discover Margarito isn't quite done yet. Pacquiao will also likely receive a slight uptick in credit for his win over Margarito.
