Nope check the record. Cotto-margarito did 400k. Cotto-Msoley did under 300k buys. Pac-Cotto did 1.25mil and Pac-margo di almost the same 1.2 mil buys. Cotto has never been big on ppv. He needed Pac and then Margo to sell more. Margarito has never been a huge ppv selller. Just a good B side. Of course his ppv after getting caught cheating against a bum on a small latin fury ppv didn't sell well. Cotto-Malignaggi on Latin Fury sold under 100k too. (85k to be exact)

The PAc/Mosley ppv # has never been determined accurately. According to Bob Showtime doesn't have the mechanisms in place to actually count the correct #'s like HBO ppv does.

My guess is it wasn't 1.2 mil. Maybe 1 mil but i'm just guessing.

for those of you who support Cotto with this and this is true.

most if not all of you think the only reason Margarito won was because his wraps were loaded. It has been mentioned here gazillions of times.

if that is true then why the need to not only boil down Margarito, but also keep him from hydrating?

if indeed the ONLY reason Margarito won was because of what was in his wraps then shouldn't Cotto be able to win this time without trying to take advantages going into the fight?

That can be played both ways, if Marg felt he won without cheating why does the weight have to be at 154? He fought Manny at 150, and Cotto before at 147 now he needs all the weight advantage he can get? As for my view, sure Cotto doesn't need any of these advantages why should he be the bigger man? I never understood that, for example when I play basketball I don't play dirty or rough it up but if some guy plays like that I got no problem playing that game. I see Cotto in the same light, he is a fair guy but if you do him dirty he'll return the favor.
