I always thought Pac asking for a catch weight against Margarito was OK because he was moving up to a new weight division and he doesn't even make the full Welterweight limit. The problem I had with that is that it was for the 154 pound belt.

The fact that Cotto has already fought twice with no catchweights makes this request a joke. His 2 fights at 154 he's weighed in at 153.5 and 154. He had no problem winning the belt at 154 against Yuri. He had no problem defending it at 154 against Mayorga. Now all of a suddent wants a catchweight against Margarito? This is pathetic.

Whats funny is THE ONLY person who either boxingscene or Steve Kim can get to talk about this issue is Margarito's Manager. Not his promoter, Arum who handles both, not Marg himself, not his trainer. After the Cotto fight he said he had trouble at 147... WTF, he just looked like a monster 6 months before the Mosley fight now he struggles to make weight?
