It wouldn't. It would only enhance Ortiz's career.

If he lose to Ortiz, although he shoudn't, it would be bad for his legacy, and just imagine what Pacquiao would do to him !

Also, it has nothing to do with RRJ, who is a different fighter. Mayweather is still on top of his game, he never was in a real war because of his style and he has not fought very often.

So losing to an average fiighter like Ortiz is not good at all. For exemple: What would people say if Bute loses to Johnson ? Answer: They would say Bute is no were near the best of his game although Johnson is way better than Ortiz.

I think that a fighter shouldn't be juge by a particular fight in a career, but in reality, it does. When Tyson lost to James "Buster" Douglas, people started to say that Tyson's technique wasn't good enough. The day before that fight, he was doing everything right.

i fail to see how u make distinctions. roy's loss wasnt expected. no1 expected him to get knocked out. that **** shocked the world. and roy was never in any real wars either.

I said that I don't have a list, but if you have a top 50 then by all means post it.

Actually you can......when you have an agenda against him.

RRJ loss shocked the world. There was no doubt about RRJ, he had everything and was so good that losing was no an option. Now, if someone is honest enough, he will admit that Mayweather didn't win all of his fight, injured or not. RRJ was a monster, i remember a fight when, with only a jab, Lucas was down on the floor, he got up, but he knew he was not in same league, even if he became a WC.

Mayweather hasn't been truly tested against a prime warrior, a prime Mosley would have probably KO'd Mayweather with that famous punch in their fight. Prime Mosley was spectacular, but less than RJJ. So that's the reason why i say that RJJ is a different fighter.

I hope my English is good enough... it would be better in French !

it's relevant to RJJ very much so..... it's not like we saw his KO coming. RJJ hasn't been in a war prior to the KO as well what's your point? He was on top of the world before the KO. THere's no telling Mayweather is on top of his game considering his long lay off. We'll just have to wait and see.

If only Shane had taken the fight earlier he may have ended floyd's winning streak.
