Yeah, I mean, obviously he's suspect because of his weak resume, but in this case we have to give Floyd props for stepping up to the plate and fighting a tough, young, fast, powerful angry Mexican.

    That's not easy.

He deserves props. He's got more balls than I thought he did.

I was expecting Malignaggi or Spadafora but he picked Ortiz.
    Respekkkt.

Ortiz better than Hatton & Gatti? Haha! Honestly wtf do you base that crap on? Better than Mosley? Funny that I bet you was on the Mosley bandwagon saying Floyd was scared of Mosley after he battered Margarito!
When Mosley cracked Floyd in the 2nd I bet you was jumping up and down screaming with delight & then as soon as Floyd started clattering him you sat back, depressed saying ''Mosley is washed up''

Ortiz style is all wrong for a guy like Mayweather, he is a poor mans Hatton except Hatton was undefeated, hungry & a very good body puncher with a decent chin.

And seeing as you're dissing Floyds resume since Castillo you're pretty much knocking Mannys as well seeing he has fought several fighters way after Floyds already ruined them.

Have you seen Gatti and Hatton? And have you seen Ortiz?

If you have, you must admit that the former are both crude, whereas Ortiz is a classy boxer with multi-dimensional talent.

If you can't see the difference than any remaining analysis you may offer is not worth taking seriously.

Ortiz is naturally more gifted and skilled than all of them with more one punch power. You can accuse me of trolling but judging by your posts you seem to be an authority on the subject.

All Wright had to do vs. Mosley is keep his hands up and pop back a 1-2 to confuse Mosley.

The problem is a lot of people don't appreciate how great and masterful Floyd is. Nice win for Ortiz versus Berto, but you have to throw all of that out!...He's facing Floyd Mayweather! What I like about this fight is that Ortiz, like other fighters who gave Floyd a little trouble, will bring out the best in Floyd. I still don't believe we've seen the very best of Floyd and Ortiz just might bring that out! Because Mayweather with extraordinary ring IQ, always finds a way.

Ortiz is there, holds a title, and Pac-PBF still isn't happening. Not much to question really. It was the only fight PBF could make for his comeback.
