Prime Mosley was faster and more active, but his boxing skills were still rudimentary at best.

Ortiz has much more wrinkles in his game.

Look at how prime Mosley struggled with boxers with movement and technical skill like Wright, Oscar and Vernon. And even with lower tier opponents who gave him angles like Collazo.

Not bad. Ortiz does have a puncher's chance if nothing else.

I think we're going to see Ortiz at his best. He's out to prove all of his naysayers (Max Kellerman) wrong about the size of his heart.

ortiz had one win at welterweight and couldn't even cut it at 140. if he's the best opponent since castillo how is floyd considered a top fighter of this era?

              -1 Mosley is no Ortiz.

Ortiz actually has skill. Mosley just comes forward with a fake jab and tries to headhunt all night.

If it works he wins. If it fails, he loses.

                ,

If Ortiz is the most dangerous fighter that Floyd has fought since Castillo. Then Floyd has fought a pretty mediocre bunch since Castillo.

People will complain no matter what. I mean , the man comes back after a 14 month layoff , he's not in his prime anymore , and he's fighting a young dangerous opponent yet people still aren't satisfy. What can you do .....

that's his own fault. if he wanted to fight more he could but he doesn't want to fight the top guys so what can you do. he pretends that khan isn't a big enough draw to fight but then fights guys like ortiz who were on khan undercards for their entire careers.
