For those of you who question Ortiz as an opponent.

Anyone discrediting Ortiz as an opponent is doing it based on instinct and nothing else.
I see how easy it is to bash on anything Floyd does but if you step back and look at his comp in the past few years, it has actually been pretty damn solid.
But, PBF had to make himself hated to sell his fights as well as he has--considering his style--so he can't complain too much about it. He just has to accept that a big part of his check is being paid for by people who want so badly to see him lose.Comment

Says a lot about Floyd's ATG resume.
Lets use science instead of hollow rhetoric and examine Mayweather's opposition since Castillo and I defy anyone to prove that Ortiz is not better than everyone on that list.
1)Victoriano Sosa.
Adv. Ortiz.
2)Phillip N'dou.
Adv. Ortiz.
3)Henry Bruseles
Adv. Ortiz.
4)Arturo Gatti (post Ward trilogy, though I'm not sure it matters, Ortiz is just better)
Adv. Ortiz
5)DeMarcus Corley. Respectable journeyman, but not better than Ortiz.
Adv. Ortiz
6)Zab Judah. Always overrated, coming off a loss to 10 loss journeyman.
Adv. Ortiz
7)Baldomir. Having one good night against a mental overrated midget, does not make you great or good. Just a tough journeyman.
Adv. Ortiz
8)Ricky Hatton. Never very good, but matched properly by Warren to milk his loyal fanbase.
Adv. Ortiz
9)Oscar DeLaHoya. Good fighter, but way past his prime when he took the fight and had just been busted up by a pillow fisted lightweight Steve Forbes in his previous fight. Full time promoter, part time fighter.
10)JMM. Obviously better than Ortiz, but a career 126 pounder.
Adv. Ortiz
11) Mosley. Old. old. old. Similar to Baldomir, he had one good night, but aside from the Margarito fight has looked awful for years. And frankly, Mosley was never really that great to start with.
Adv. Ortiz.
So lest anyone think, Mayweather is cherrypicking, think again, this is actually the first time in almost 10 years he's facing a live, young, strong opponent his own size.
