    LL would beat wlad

Vitali prime vs LL prime would be a very competitive fight

I think Lennox Lewis is the only HW in history that could give the K bros any real trouble.

I guess that's because we have.

And since you're never going to see it the way I do and vice-versa, why bother?

Now I have a question would Tyson be considered great if it wasn’t for the media hype machine backing him and telling us all of ‘iron Mike the badest man on the planet?

I believe the answer is no, because he simply never achieved half as much as what the hype surrounding him suggested. In reality he never beat anyone who was that good.
I missed this for quite a while.

First off, there was nothing speculative about my opinion and the opinions of others. I called for readers to question their perceptions of Lewis and his legacy as THEY saw it. Then I gave them reason for reconsideration.

Second, the defining moments in Lewis' career came against extremely diminished foes who still had huge names. That sir, is a FACT.

Next, no one mentioned Rid**** Bowe. So save your red herring for the uninitiated.

Last, attacking Mike Tyson's legacy does not strengthen Lennox Lewis' legacy. I hope I've helped you better understand that.

And since I'm helping you better understand things, you should know that no one has ever argued that Tyson has had anywhere near the best career or legacy. Mike Tyson was a train wreck of a man self-admittedly.

However, Tyson will forever be remembered as the most dominating force in his era of boxing. Maybe any era. He was the closest thing boxing ever had to a gladiator. You may question his career, but you nor anyone else can question the amazing skills and attributes of a prime "IRON" Mike Tyson. Cus put his EVERYTHING into Tyson as his last and greatest protoge.

The young man was phenom. He was a short HW with a peek-a-boo defense that could bob and weave punches in a phone booth. He was as close to Sweet Pea as any HW has ever been in terms of ducking, dodging and slipping punches.

He carried dynamite in both fists. He carried bad intentions in his heart. He was the consummate savage professional and the world loved him for it. Tyson's trial probably had more watchers than most of Lewis' fights.

That will be Mike Tyson's legacy. The world never loved Lennox. The world will never love Lennox. Even now destitute and broken, the world supports Tyson and wants to see him do well for himself and his family.

        That is his legacy.

The following is my own opinion and as such you may disagree, but I would rather be remembered as the best for a short time for being what I was, than be remembered as the third best who beat the best two at their weakest and lowest points, and went on to beat my chest pretending to be something that I never was.

        That is Lewis' legacy.

I am not alone in my feelings on this matter.

Boxing would be thriving right now with another prime Mike Tyson. It was when Tyson left and Lewis took the reigns that the HW division died a quiet death.

        Chew on that.

Prime Lewis got KTFO by crazy Oliver McCall, no way he lasts 3 rounds with Vitali. His excess weight allowed him to take Vitali's early shots. Vitali is a habitual slow starter, Lewis hit him with an illegal punch, should have been DQ'ed, was holding for dear life the whole fight. Just like the "prime" Ali was knocked unconscious by Henry Cooper and the larger Ali who was cheating on his wife like it was going out of style was able to take Foreman and Frazier and Shavers's punches, chins tend to get better with time and brain damage. Listen to Lewis, he sounds ******ed. He sounds worse than ******ed. The guys a certified punch drunk moron. Those guys are really hard to KO and that saved him. Prime Lewis goes down on the first Vitali right.
