Wow the Mares fans are in utter denial. Aqbeko despite the low blows had Mares on his bike and pushed the fight from round 5 onward. Aqbeko was the fighter that landed the harder effective shots. The only reason Mares won was because of the two questionable KDs and the constant low blows. Golden Boy may have paid off the ref and gave boxing a serious blow.

To be honest that first KD was borderline, he slipped and touched the canvas, that punch didnt do it, Mares is a feather fister.

Mares shouldve been DQ by the 12th round. Take first point from him in 4th round, take 2nd point in 8th and DQ him by 11-12.

Fight shouldve been a DRAW at WORST. and Agbeko win if it was Reffed Properly.

We have no idea how the lowblows affected Agbeko during the fight, it couldve made him slow and hesitating to throw punches, yes Mares is feather fisted but try getting someone to punch you in the nuts every 10 seconds.

Im not racist but I dont like Cowards and what they do to Boxing, thats why im Consistent with people like Devon Alexander/Tim Bradley and now Mares, doesnt matter where they come from or how they look. You fight like a coward, I hate on you all day.

True post right here. Mares has zero power and the only punches that seemed to have an effect by him were his low blows. Aqbeko couldn't miss with the overhand right, just like Lara kept tagging Williams with the left overhand. Just like Williams, Mares only landed slapping flurries which did no damage. Anybody who feels different needs to get their eyes checked or is a Mares fanboy.

I watched the fight & I know who landed harder shots. But if someone has more power & the other less power does that mean the harder puncher won?? It doesn't. Marez threw more & he landed more. Almost twice as much power shots more. The only punches that Agbeko dominated in were jabs, that's it. 1 solid right hand won't win a fight. If the bs last kd wasn't called Agbeko still wouldn't have won. King Kong did not win 8 rounds, period.
