But, I have to disagree with him in that Mares has regressed after leaving Nacho. Something is missing, I know Frankie has said that Nacho didn't really work with Mares or something to that effect. But, whether it was Zaragosa or someone from that team that had Mares looking legit, more so than he has now since leaving Nacho.

What are you talking about? Mares was undoubtedly the better boxer overall.....he landed more punches and was more accurate. The only thing you guys have to hang on to is the low blows which in all honestly I saw only two.

I really don't understand how the judges had it so close, I was expecting a 10-2 fight in favor of Mares and that's not including the KD.

Agbeko ****** mares up. Mares controlled the early rounds for the most part, agbeko controlled the late rounds. Both kd's were bullshi t. So were at least 5-6 low blows and only one warning while agbeko was gettijg warned for incidental headbutts (2) and a few retaliation tactics.

I was impressed he kept his cool as long as he did.

Mares is getting sloppier, agbeko isnt know for having the straightest punches but tye mid rounds he was punching inside mares looping shots.

Plus mares looked like king kong rubbed his face in the pavement. And im not talking about the cut.

Second, im not mad at abner, i dont think he's dirty, and i dont think he should have admitted it after the fight (that the blows were low)- nkt his job. He's a fighter and was doing what he does, you cant see everywhere your punches land.

I think a draw would have been appropriate. I also think agbeko won 7 rds vs an opponenet AND a ref.

to me, there's being classy and then there's not standing up for your fighter. i generally prefer taking the high road, but as EVERYONE says, this fight was pretty much a travesty... if that was my fighter in there i would have been very animated.....

we're not talking Roger Mayweather jumping in because of a low blow... we're talking as many low blows landed as body shots nearly

it sucks man, it really does... especially with all they hype and potential of the fight... aside from the blows it was a good fight to watch, lots of solid exchanges etc

it wasnt nearly as good though as the Agbeko fight that was on the Adamek/Cunningham undercard
