    Oh, ok.

I don't think the fact Whitaker has a better resume than Winky means he has better defense, of course.

Winky probably has a better resume than Lora but Lora obviously has a better defence.

And Winky does have a good defence. A very effective one.

But, it's not as good as Whitakers.

wrights good defense wasnt because of his long ass arms. that was only part of it. there are a lot of fighters with long ass arms. he was so much more defensively.

        Seriously.
Exactly... I stated in an earlier post that nobody really wanted to fight him. Everybody on NSB bashes him for pricing himself out of fights but in all honesty, I don't believe the Mayweather's, DLH's, and Tito's (years before they made the fight) of the world would want to give Wright the opportunity to build his name even more off them. Big thanks to Vargas and Mosley for giving him a stage.

          Forrest-Quartey was a huge robbery.....

ROFL at people saying Wright doesn't throw because of his defense....dig up the numbers people, you just know they're talking out of their ass when they say this....the only fight where you could say Wright has a very low workrate is vs Hopkins....where he outlanded Hopkins...and we know if anyone can cut a man's workrate, it's Hopkins....

Winky was kept honest by extreme volume puncher's, but to say he didn't throw back is a huge overstatement.........Winky was a pressure fighter who you couldnt hit back.....the ultimate(best) style IMO, at his peak

                Robbery?

Meh, maybe the memory is finally catching up to me.

In all honesty I was going off top of the head, it was 5 years ago, right?

I'll go and rewatch it tommorow.

watch again, quartey made him miss badly and countered beautifully.....forrest was only trying to steal the fight with activity.....and succeeded, but the way the cards came up(wide), you knew quartey had no shot form the start.....

thsi coming from lederman, who usually scores for power and activity.....and forrest was more active and percieved as the better puncher.....

there's a reason quartey got the wright fight......everyone knew he got jobbed....
