Why do the US audience react so badly to Witter when he does flash moves/showboating?

I'm saying that you actually have to be in shape and athletic to play soccer when in football you can be a fat kid who drinks and parties all day and night, but as long as you got some strength you're on the o-line or d-line. The Bolded comment just shows how little you know about soccer. You obviously haven't played it because if you did you would know that it consists of short, rapid bursts of speed with slower running in between not "jogging". Hardly any scoring? Then you must love watching football (Carolina,Baltimore,NY Jets,SF 49ers).

Both of you guys comparing apples to oranges. American Football and European Football are totally different sports. So its like putting a Andre Agassi player on an ice rink...will he be good? No. Is he still a great athlete? Yes.
So comparing toughness of athletes from different sports is simply foolish.

        hmm

Just because you have strenght doesn't make you any good. There are plenty of fat slobs with strength who cannot hack it at OL. If you knew anything about football you would know this, but no, you have some lovefest with soccer (which is ok, but don't go attacking football and saying ignorant things).

Fat slobs with no technique or skills will not make it at OL. THat'd be like me saying any skinny guy with stamina can play soccer, or would that be correct?

        No "owning" here, little boy.

And please, don't tell me what I've played. You can say whatever you want but the fact still remains that I've played soccer. Don't make a fool of yourself.

        P.S. "slow-running" equals jogging, jackass.

        Next.

          hmm

I agree, showstopper, soccer players are good athletes. I was just respongding in kind to some idiots who would like to degrade football, giving them a taste of their own medicine.

Actually European Football is the only sport that requieres you to be in the kind of shape that boxing demands.
As for me, I like our good, old American Football better than soccer simply cause its the closest most brutal thing to boxing that I could watch on TV and enjoy, IMO its also much more action-packed than soccer.

OK...here's an example. A good proffessional has to play soccer his WHOLE life to even play on a crappy Division 1 team in Europe. A random good athlete can start football in high school and make the proffessional american leagues. Soccer is at least harder to get pro. And what level of soccer did you play? I'm guessing Div 2 when you were 10 years old.

Definately, its not just about brute strength in Amer.Football.
They offensive/defensive lines might look like they are fat sloppy ****ers, but they are very fast for their size, itsjust that their stamina that sucks, but that mainly due to weight that they carry. But they are very capable to shirt bursts of speed.

No offense to anyone, but alot of insecure older white males will get mad when a player dances in the End Zone or when they Dance in the Ring..

this might be off-topic but great fighter Laslo Papp was a soccer player before he started his boxing career.
