I get it, so youre saying he was physically inferior in the brain than fighters like the Klitschko's and thus punches caused more brain damage to him than other fighters. Not sure you can be considered the greatest with such a major deformity.

Again, why so many robberies? Why give title shots to chuck wepner, alfredo evangelista, leon spinks, richard dunn, jimmy young, jean-pierre coopman, joe bugner...all int he golden age where all the "great heavyweights" were around...

And pre-lay offs, where Ali was fighting police chiefs and volunteer fire fighters who happened to be in the audience and 98 year old Archie moore...he still was dropped by 10 win 2 loss Sonny Take it to the Bank Banks, beat by Doug Jones and refused to rematch, forced to cheat against Henry Cooper, won 2 rigged fights against Liston (first fight was a draw before Liston quit), then defended his title against ATG's like Henry Cooper again, Brian London, and Karl Mildenberger....thats some stiff competition there............................................. ...........................
Man you've got some sort of obsession of size. Yeah the guys that Ali fought were lighter than fighters that Klitschko fought but the fact is they were actual athlete's not obese, asthma suffering victims eg Briggs, solis, johnson, arreola, peters, chambers. These guys were already in a battle with their stomach, they needed to be in a fat camp and not a ring.

Why should he have fought for a country that denied black people equal rights, yet they were good enough to get their asses shot up in an immoral war? He would have never seen combat and took a stand giving up a fortune and his boxing prime. Anyone who watched the beating he took from Holmes and still wouldn't go down, would never question his courage. Your post was disturbing.

Ali was overrated, he was good for his time but wouldnt get far today. He would be a CW.

I know who he would be like, David Haye. Same big mouth, except David Haye isnt a racist like Ali is.

I cant believe people support Ali who is a known racist who hates white people and a known criminal?

Antwood: these goofs will never listen, they think fighters from the past are these magical people who can do anything, and they think Boxing is the only sport not to evolve. When infact Boxing IS like every other sport and ALL athletes of Today are better trained/coached/educated/handled/stronger than the past. Look at Michael Phelps and Usain Bolt, then put them into a dude from the 50's or 60's. Hell a SCRUB Swimmer or Runner who comes in 10th place at a meet today wouldve had a world record 40 years ago. But Boxing is only sport not to be affected by Sports Evolution, or these idiots seem to think.

He also had a 3 year lay off, and fought more guys under 200 before the layoff than he did over 200. And dont tell me that crap that he fought too long past his prime...after the age of 35 he fought only 4 times...2x against a cruiserweight with 6 pro wins and a draw...once where he quit against Larry Holmes and then finally against Berbick...and age 35 wasnt even 3 years after Foreman which was the best win of his career. So why is he so damn punch drunk if he was so hard to hit? Was he just a fraud, all smoke and mirrors? Were championship fights against 14-1-1 Alfredo Evangelista that went the distance proof that he simply had no power to get people over 200 lbs out of there and thus fought too many rounds?

Neither Vitali nor Wlad show any signs of being punch drunk, no slurred speech, no weight gain, no real deterioration...so are they both much harder to hit than Ali? Im trying to figure out if Ali was the greatest why did he clearly sustain much more damage than 99% of fighters over the course of his career...why so many close controversial decisions...jones, young, shavers, spinks, norton...why at 221 lbs was he fighting guys who came in weighing 180 lbs? These are questions I simply cant answer.

same reason why ROy Jones is punch drunk as hell and keep getting knocked out now days.

They both were fighting way out of prime when they should've retire.

The people that think that Ali would be out musceld by the heavyweights of today should go have a look at Evander Holycheat, who stood in there with Vitali's daddy for 24 rounds !
