oh dear, how can anyone call frazier a midget! in height maybe but i seriously doubt any heavyweight in this era could handle his left hook. And as for MA, you seriously need to re think that trail of thought! VK and WK couldnt have gone 3 rounds with MA.Comment

How silly, he would have to resort to a Haye-like strategy or be ko'd.Comment

Apparently you're having trouble distinguishing fact from opinion, but that's ok.
The above quote to me is funny. The reason you say that the era Ali fought in was the Golden Age, is because he lost and people chose to upgrade his opponents status.
I love the argument that the Klitschko's have not fought "anyone". Isn't the truth actually that anyone they fight gets nowhere, in other words becomes a nobody. Imagine Frazier coming up and easily being beaten by Klitschko. No one would be talking talking about what a great fighter he is. This perception about how there were so many great fighters in the past (Golden Age as you called it) is merely due to the fact there was relative parity.Last edited by cupocity303; 08-01-2011, 10:31 PM.Comment

The reason anyone in that era becomes a Hall of Famer is because they defeated Ali. Frazier beats Ali, losses to him two more times, losses to Foreman. He gets into the Hall of Fame. Foreman becomes a Hall of Famer as a direct consequence of Ali losing, and Foreman ko'ing a smaller, weaker Heavyweight in Frazier, before losing to Ali.
RIght now, The Klitschko's have the Heavyweight division on lock. Nobody is getting through them. And thus, no Hall of Famers will be created. Do you want them to purposely lose, to put someone over and establish their credentials.
Like it would matter anyway, I'm sure the perception would just be that Wlad lost to a bum.Comment

But all in all, I think Wlad stands a chance to kill Ali, the size disparity is huge
