Today we got boxers from every part of the world. So the talent pool is much higher.
I know you're probably not coming back at this point. Buuut

In the 1920s there were more professional boxers in New York City, than there are in the entire world now.

In 1955 there was double the amount of boxers internationally.

    So no, not even close

In the 1920's all it took to be a professional boxer was to fight a professional fight. There are more TRUE professional boxers in Ohio today than there were before the 50's. Im talking guys who never had another job, never did anything but box. Never had to go work on the docks in their spare time, never went hungry, never missed practices or had to fight 40 times a year and thus wore their bodies down, sustained long lasting injuries, Im talking about guys who make a living, a completely living off of boxing.

Do you think Wlad and Vitali practice by taking a run in the morning before going to work in the factory?

Its freaking simple, 101 level sport science in terms of rest, recovery and training. How many Brandon Rios's do you think there were back then...do you think there were trainings putting up fighters like today and then expecting them to have full 8 week training camps, fight, give them another month or 2 to rest and recover? Take one freaking biology course and then come back to the boards.

I cant throw a brick from my house without hitting someone who says theyre a mixed martial artist professionally. Doesnt mean theyre actually professionals, generally it means theyre hilljacks who got paid 10 bucks to fight another hilljack in a cage at a bar. Its the same thing. You have to only count real professionals. Back then there were more pro baseball players too, doesnt mean that any of them could play baseball today. It just means the standards to be a pro baseball player were much much lower due to the lack of organization and ease of getting a gig due to no tv making live sports in demand.

Now people would rather watch 2 great teams of top calibur athletes play on tv, then watch 2 average teams play in person. That wasnt an option back then.

Heres the real number you need to figure out. How many people with true athletic gifts, with proper nutrition, with exposure to boxing and the ability to enter it are there today compared to in the past? 10x? 20x? I dont know. Then find out what percentage of athletes have tried boxing. If you dont like being hit, if you dont like throwing punches, I dont care if boxing was your only option back then, chances are you were going to be not so good. Theres a much larger pool of people who try boxing today, and a much larger pool of people with the natural and nurtured gifts to be boxers today...its just a lot harder to be considered a professional today and the wheat gets separated from the chaff much sooner. NO longer do 2k people show up to watch 2 part time boxers/bakers wrestle for 24 rounds until one of them takes a mob backed dive.

Wladmir is garbage, very 1 dimentional, all he has is a good 1-2. If you can get past his jab and right hand, he don't have an answer. He gives up, and can't think. Look at this fight. He do not have a heart, all he has is size. Joe Frazier, Ken norten, sunny Liston, Big forman, and Ali would have beat the living ***** out of both Klischo bros. Chris bird made the other brother quit on the stool, out of frustration, plus he was tired. You really need to do your research before opening your mouth. You sound like a real fool

if alis era was so "****" then how come

foreman was able to 'at 42' take holyfield to 12 rounds- what an amazing fight- i think foreman probably had just as good- if not better chin than vitali- holyfield landed some of the biggest shots ive ever seen

holyfield beat tyson twice- fair and square

prime rahman Ko'd sanders- who KO'd Wlad
past his prime holyfield beat rahman

all this proves is that the 90s had the best boxers
and foreman was able to compete with them

rid**** bowe does not get the respect he deserves- to go 2-1 vs prime holyfield is amazing

          43-1
the only loss coming because someone with a fan put him off

yea he ducked lewis but so did tyson all his career

looking at lewis's career, especially considering when he was well apst his prime he still 54 stitch KTFO out of vitali- i'd say lennox has a legit claim for being the greatest HW of all time

he would have lost to klitschko in a rematch

but if he had fought vitali prime for prime he would have ****d him

The above quote to me is funny. The reason you say that the era Ali fought in was the Golden Age, is because he lost and people chose to upgrade his opponents status.

I love the argument that the Klitschko's have not fought "anyone". Isn't the truth actually that anyone they fight gets nowhere, in other words becomes a nobody. Imagine Frazier coming up and easily being beaten by Klitschko. No one would be talking talking about what a great fighter he is. This perception about how there were so many great fighters in the past (Golden Age as you called it) is merely due to the fact there was relative parity.
            1. spare us the the font size. really. i know you're a size queen and all that,
but we can make out your words just fine in standard size. doesn't make your ****** ass point any less ridiculous.

2.i think ali fought in a golden age because he lost?

so what's keeping this era from being a "golden age" for wlad? let me guess, " guys like corrie sanders don't get elevated to the levels of that bum joe frazier because wlad is white and there's a conspiracy against white fighters?"

**** outta here with that strawman ****.

this is pretty much how the Ali vs. Wladimir fight would have been

Ali would dance circles arround Wlad like a little monkey until Wlad gets close and lands one of his power punches.

Like Correi Sanders did....you Klit fans give me jokes with all this "they are too big, they wouldnt stand a chance"

Im sure if Mike Tyson was coming up today, you f@gs would be repeddling this same rubbish about how he is too small to compete in this current heavyweight climate...when you so much as admitted that prime Mike Tyson is a bad stlistic matchup for Wlad.......

I find it difficult to understand how you try to compare Ali with Chambers, Byrd etc.... but its funny that when people bring up a 190lbs Joe Louis beating Primo Carnera who almost had the same dimensions as Wlad...you guys are quick to say that Primo and Wlad arent the same calibar of fighter.....
