How do we know anyone Wlad has faced is even remotely close to the level of guys in the 70's? In fact most if not all experts would say the guys of the 70's are superior
Point me to these experts.
Just let it not be anybody as old or generational biased as this guy:

I've heard guys get caught up in endless debate, saying that Michael Jordan was in a weak NBA era to discredit his accomplishments.
Then the other guy would use the same tactic, pointing to a Kobe not performing well without a Shaq, etc,. etc.
That's no way to debate this.Comment

Muhammad Ali is Muhammad Ali. not david haye. not sam peter. not eddie chambers.
and we're basing what we know of him, on what we've seen. god knows how much better he could have gotten had he not lost 3 years off of his prime.Comment

I'll go right ahead and admit that Ali has more heart than Wlad. If it came down to who can take more punishment and keep fighting, Ali wins.
But that's unnecessary. Wlad has perfected his style. In many ways it's one-dimensional but it's the most effective One-Dimensional style of All-Times.
If you can keep doing the same thing, fight after fight, winning 90+ percent of the rounds, and keep handing out TKO losses, you've got something, despite people trying to discredit the opposition.
It's simple, whoever can get through that Dimension, beats Wlad. The trick is getting through it, now that he has ironed out some of his earlier flaws of wasting too much energy with unnecessary movement.
People wanna talk about Prime Ali, Prime Tyson, Prime this and that. How about a Prime Wlad Klitschko. Whenever these guys losses are brought up, it's because they weren't at their best. How about, Wlad wasn't at his best when he ran out of steam in two of his three losses.Last edited by cupocity303; 08-01-2011, 07:26 PM.Comment
