Haye gave Wlad a hard time cause he couldnt catch him for the first 5-6 rounds, Hayes lack of boxing showed in that fight cause he clearly had Wlad scared to throw a punch, an never used his speed to establish anything in the ring. Ali would have been poppin Wlad wit his jab an talking **** as he was throwing the jab an laughn at Wlad as he tried to catch him with his slow jab. Im far from living in the past, but the K brothers IMHO are very overrated, an there fans are worst then Manny an Floyd fans, they are soild fighting big men but if them against a ATG they lose IMO, **** Vitali could even beat a over the hill Lewis how the f#ck you think he would do against a prime Lewis. N im mad your compairing Wlad to Usian Bolt LMFAO! Usian can atleast give a show, Wlad does nothin but jab his opponet to death SMH! Plus Usian has something none of the Kilts have and that's charisma.
hmm good points man but I still think the fight would go like this

Ali dancing circles arround Wlad like a monkey untill Wlad catches him and knocks him out

Im glad this thread has triggered a debate about Ali being overrated.

Before it was a taboo to even suggest a boxer of this era could beat Ali.

Yet Ali was BEATEN by a half Blind Joe Frazier. ( would have won in Manila too if it wasn't for his GD corner ).

TOO MANY people make Ali out to be some invincible god fighter who NEVER LOST.

Ali is a great fighter but Joe Lewis is greater. Ali is MEMORABLE because of the era he fought in and how he sold fights. (what he did to Frazier was unforgivable. He made Frazier out to be some sellout when in reality when Ali had NOTHING Frazier helped him out).

Rumble in the Jungle and thrilla in manila where catch phrases Ali created and hyped up but in the end He isn't some unbeatable God-Boxer.

Vitali in his Prime would give Ali fits. Wlad im not so sure about but Vitali I think has a good chance of beating Ali in his PRIME.

You forget that Ali and vk have the same reach and Ali is 10 times the fighter haye is and won't just look for one punch.

The ironic thing is in Ali's far more competitive era Wlad would never have been able to develop into the fighter he is today. He'd never have been so protected and tbh imo would probably have never recovered from his knockout losses or developed as there would have been no Steward to learn from.

Vitali's heart, chin and size would have made him a contender in any era. But Ali wins an embarassingly lopsided points decision imo.

Foreman Liston and Frazier would all be considered midgets in todays HW division.

Ali vs Wlad would be similar to Wlad vs Byrd IMO.

What do you guys think about this fight.
Cassius Clay can easily beat both of the Klits brothers, both Klits doesn't have the footwork to cope with Clay/Ali's speed and quick movements... The Klits only have their power to be considered competetive, but even with that, Ali has fought much more powerful punchers in Foreman, Liston, Norton, and Ali's chin hold up...

How do you know Foreman, Liston, Norton are more powerful than the Klitschkos???

Or are you just making assumptions based on nothing like most of Ali's nuthuggers?

Ali against Wladmir would be an interesting match-up. Both boxers have mad skills. I'd go for Ali though, his footwork would make the difference. Ali would be too fast for Wlad. It would be a very close match.

BTW byrd weighted 213 pounds when he fought Wladimir. Thats the same weight of Big George Foreman.

Like I said boxers in Alis days would be considered midgets in todays era.
