Thats why theyre the best because theyre skills would be great in any era

I dont see lebron or kobe dunking from the free throw line or averaging 30+ a game in a league that didnt allow you to shoot foul shots everytime u flop throughh the lane..

You dont see fighters as fast as when ali fought, or that punch as hard..guys like foreman and shavers used to break fighters faces and arms. The fact that they weighed less is because they were in great shape something the vheavys today should learn from
This is one of the biggest differences I see today. Even if they have learned a thing or two, do they even have the ability to utilize it? Most of these guys are flabby and don't even look like athletes.

If hes old and cant move wlad puts it on him but a prime ali is too fast
You're misunderstanding, I'm not saying that Wlad Klitschko would float like a butterfly and sting like a bee. He'd do something similar that he did with David Haye.

Ali would obviously be one the move. Think of Mayweather using his boxing skills against Judah, but being the one that came forward intelligently. Or Cotto coming forward intelligently against a Malignaggie - who thought he was gonna Float and Sting his way to victory like a prime Ali, against Cotto.

Ali would have to deal with punches coming from a range he hasn't seen his entire career. A guy a couple feet away from him and still managing to reach him.

Now sure, Wlad hasn't seen a Ali style in his career either but if I were a betting man. My money would be that someone of Ali's size and style struggles and has more trouble dealing with a Klitschko. THen a Klitschko would with dealing with a Ali.

Now back to the point. Who in he hell has Wlad or Vitali beat that make you think either one could beat Ali?
        Haye
        Chambers
        Byrd
        Ibragimov.

And the way he beat them so easly makes me think Ali would stand no chance.

        Now you answer my question

And dont forget Ali did allot of clinching in his career to.

Clinching against the much bigger Wlad would be very tyring for Ali.

Every new titlist that comes along, their fans want them to be great and compare them to the true greats. When you been around a bit you learn to ignore them and by the time these young fans realize their foolishness another group of kids show up comparing their new champion to the greats again.

It is a sad cycle and reminds me of my niece who trys to convince me Justin Bieber is greater than Elvis and the Beatles.

Your such a joke.... Those guys are nobodies. They have done nothing at HW. They do not fight anything like Ali.

They haven't beat anybody even remotely close to Ali's skill, and you can't admit that.

Yes size is a good advantage, but speed kills. Guys like Ali or Tyson would kill a klit with their speed and skill.

Stop following boxing then. Go live in your fantasy land were boxers from your era were super humans for some reason.

Perfect example of a grumpy old man

Has he developed answers for some of the things we were seeing in the 60's? I don't know. Can anyone here answer that?

Here is how I answer that.

A 6'7 freak nature in the 60's could not move or develop the physique that the 6'7 guys have today. Usually being that size meant that you were slow and plodding.

It's a norm that a 6'7 guy can almost move like a point guard, and just as fast in today's NBA. You take that 6'7 guy or 7 foot guy into a time machine, and into the NBA of the past, and he will be ahead of his time in size-ability.
