yeah I can agree with that I suppose. Both had defining moments in the fight, neither could end it, both survived it. Was a crackin fight, one of my favourites of recent times

It was a competitive fight throughout, it shouldn't have been considering Khan's abilities in my opinion. Had Khan winning by a couple of points from what I remember, I'll have to watch it again.

          113-112 khan

4 and 11 were very close rounds that could have gone either way. i favored maidana in round 4 for the cleaner and harder punches and i had amir winning the 11th. it was hardly a "wipe out", very very close fight. khan threw a lot of flashy combinations throughout but maidana landed the harder, damaging blows in the mid rounds.

Watch the fight again, Khan won 7 rounds Maidana won 5. Khan had a 10-8 round in round 1 and Maidana had a 10-8 round in round 10. Maidana won round 3, 6, 10, 11, 12.

Now, keep in mind that was with a 10-8 round for Khan off the sweet bodyshot in the first round...and with Chino being deducted another point for fouling.

Did you guys have Maidana winning six rounds in that fight?

Unless you gave Maidana a 10-8 round for the 10th (?) when he had Amir hurt really badly.

Khan beat Maidana by a mile in an exciting fight..I was saying and keep saying Khan totally out boxed and dominated Maidana..Except for the 10th and maybe the 11th an 9th rds I gave to Maidana..Other then that it was Khan all day..I also picked Maidana too win that fight..

Hmm Well I just scored it 113-112 for Khan. I knew it was way closer then everyone thought, but damn closer then I even thought.

                Khan----Maidana
                Rd1..10---9
                Rd2..10---9
                Rd3..9---10
                Rd4..10---9
                Rd5..10---8, I don't like the foul call.
Rd6..9---10, Now this rd could go the other way easily. I felt Khan was hurt and held too much.
                Rd7..9---10
                Rd8..10---9
                Rd9..10---9
                R10..8---10
                R11..9---10
                R12..9---10

Interesting that without the foul call it's a draw. I like both fighters equally so I'm not being biased. This is my honest view of the fight.

Was rooting for Maidana to pull off the upset, but there's no way that guy won more than three or four rounds.

                  (I now hate Maidana.)

I thought it was a close fight and I felt Maidana won more rounds then a supposedly one dimensional fighter is suppose to. Since I seen alot of ignorant posts saying Maidana is one dimensional.
